Hi,
It's Stefania,
And we've got another story.
About graph.
A little green hair.
And kind.
Bedtime sleep helper.
Bobby has busy thoughts tonight.
He can't sleep.
For these thoughts that won't go away.
Tonight,
The stars shimmer softly above Bobby's house.
Everything feels sleepy.
The moon hangs quietly outside his window.
Bobby?
Bobby is not sleepy.
He lies under his blanket,
Turns one way.
Then the other.
He squeezes his eyes shut.
Nothing.
His thoughts bounce around his mind like jumping beans.
What game will we play tomorrow?
Does I remember my reading book?
What if I forget something?
Should I build my spaceship tomorrow?
Thought His eyes opened.
Again.
Oh,
Robbie whispers,
My brain won't be quiet.
His tiny nightlight glows beside his bed.
Soft.
Warm.
A familiar voice.
Is he Thors tonight?
Bobby sits up.
Griff?
A tiny green glow appears near the bookshelf.
Twinkling green eyes.
And gentle bendy arms.
You came back!
I said I would.
Gruff says kindly,
My brain keeps thinking.
And tonight.
The graph says softly.
We visit?
Balloon Meadow.
Green sparkles swirl.
The room grows light.
Gentle,
Warm,
And suddenly.
They float upward.
Slowly.
Peacefully.
Until they land in a meadow filled with floating,
Glowing balloons.
Blue balloons.
Gold balloons.
Silver balloons.
Each one drifts quietly through the sky.
What are they?
Bobby whispers.
Thought balloons.
Says Graff.
Everyone has them.
Bobby watches one float by.
It says.
.
.
Reading.
Another?
I will.
Mother.
Watch.
Sometimes.
Graf says kindly.
And softly.
Thoughts?
Mead.
Ho ho ding.
Sometimes they need floating.
Rev hands Bobby a ribbon.
Pick one.
Barbie chooses.
What if I forget something tomorrow?
Hold it gently.
Ref says.
Take a breath.
And.
.
.
Ouch.
Now let it float.
Slowly.
The balloon rises.
Hiya Hi.
Until it becomes a tiny star.
Bobby smiles.
Again?
Craft knots.
One by one,
Four balloons float away.
Not gone forever.
Just resting.
Until morning.
Sam.
The sky above Balloon Meadow becomes calm.
Quiet.
Peaceful.
Your thoughts are important.
Growth cells.
But bedtime.
Is rest.
Time.
The metal begins fading.
Where did you go home?
Hobby yarns,
Very big.
Mm-hmm.
Back in bed.
Blanket,
Warm,
Pillow,
Soft.
Ruff sits beside him.
Magic words?
Yes,
Go ahead.
Bobby smiles sleepily.
Affirmations.
My thoughts can rest.
I do not need to think about everything tonight.
Tomorrow can wait.
I am safe.
I am calm.
I let my thoughts drift away.
My mind is peaceful.
My body is relaxed.
I can rest now.
Sleep comes softly to me.
Bobby's chest rises and falls slowly.
N.
And ouch.
Um.
.
.
And out.
N.
And out.
Soft.
Fetty.
Peaceful.
His hands rest loosely on the blanket.
His dreams glow warm and golden.
The room is quiet now.
Only the tiny night light.
Shines.
Like a sleepy star.
The door opens just a little.
Mom peeks her head inside.
She waits.
Listens.
Smiles.
There we are,
She whispers.
Bobby doesn't stare.
Fast asleep at last.
She tucks the blanket gently under his chin and brushes a curl from his forehead.
Is finally asleep.
She murmurs softly to herself.
It must be magic.
And that's the end.
Of tonight's graph.
Story.
We'll be back again with another story soon.
But for now.
.
.
It's time to rest.
Close your eyes.
Sleep well.
And have happy dreams.
Bye for now.
