The sun is high,

The sky is wide The world aglow on every side No path to find,

No need to roam This light has always been your home The fields are full,

The trees stand tall The air itself feels like a call Not to begin,

Nor to arrive But to be here,

Aware,

Alive This is the time when all is known The seeds once planted fully grown No striving now,

No work to prove Just quiet strength in all that moves The warmth within,

The joy around No higher truth needs to be found It sings in bird call breath and breeze In swaying grass and sunlit trees Maturity wears a gentle face At ease in time,

At one with space What once was sought is clear and near The heart expands with nothing to fear So let this season fill your frame Not bound by thought,

Not held by name The light you see,

The light you are No nearer now,

No ever far

I thought it was beautiful. I really enjoyed this poem. I sometimes feel sad in the summer because spring is gone and it’s all passing so quickly. But this made me feel comforted. Thank you. 🙏🏻
