Let's bring in the energy of the owl.

We will begin by entering into a very deep state of relaxation.

In this state,

You will be completely open to what you are about to hear.

Lie on your back with your arms to your side and your palms up.

Take a few deep breaths and come into the here and now.

Become aware of your toes and feel them enter into this relaxed state.

Now feel this wave of relaxation traveling along the soles and the heels of the feet.

Letting go,

Letting go,

Relaxed.

Feel your ankles and release them into this peaceful state.

Your shins and calves are drifting away deeper and deeper.

Feel your knees letting go completely.

Your upper legs join into this resting state.

Now become aware of your fingers and let them go.

The palms and back of the hands release.

Feel your wrists giving way into this tranquil state.

Your forearms,

Elbows and upper arms let go.

Now your arms are just like your legs in this complete state of relaxation.

Bring your awareness to the pelvis.

And keep on letting go until there is nothing left to let go of.

Your low back and abdomen relax.

Mid back,

Upper back,

Chest and shoulders let go.

Feel your neck melting away deeper and deeper.

Your chin,

Cheeks,

Lips,

Tongue,

Nose,

Eyes,

Forehead and scalp all surrender into this peaceful state.

Use your mind to scan your body and feel if there is any area not letting go completely.

And let it know it is safe to let go now.

Become aware of your breath.

Calmly observe its natural rhythm.

Don't let your mind wander,

Keep it on the breath.

Now bring your awareness to your mind.

Observe your thoughts with no judgement as if you are watching a movie.

Now focus your mind on the sound of my voice and mentally repeat the following affirmations.

Allow them to wake up the energy of the owl within you.

I am allowing transformation and willing to look at the dark side and move into a new phase of life.

I embrace the mysterious and move gracefully through all phases of life experiences.

I can see what is hidden all around me.

I am sensitive to subtle energies.

I have great discernment,

I can see what many others cannot.

I clearly see what others are trying to hide.

I have the ability to bring light into dark areas.

I am comfortable being alone and observing the shadow side of myself.

I can be counted on to keep secrets.

I easily discern people's true motivation and help people play fair.

I share the wisdom of the elders.

I have a strong intuitive sense.

I am strong willed and very protective for those I care about.

I can grasp the higher truths and know when to let go of things that are no longer useful.

Now think about a challenging situation happening in your life.

Make a clear image of yourself in the midst of this situation.

Now feel yourself shape shifting,

Calling in the energy of the owl,

Transforming into an owl.

You are searched in a tree,

Observing all people involved.

You shine owl energy onto this situation.

Bring in clear vision,

Wisdom,

Intuition and discernment to transform and resolve this issue to the satisfaction of all involved.

Now see yourself silently flying away.

Leave it behind with confidence that you can invoke the power of the owl at will to effectively handle any situation that comes into your life.

You now embody your human form,

Coming into the here and now.

You can choose to return to your usual level of wakefulness and alertness or drift into sleep.

If you choose to awaken,

Feel your body and mind becoming more aware of your surroundings.

If you choose to sleep,

Let the relaxation deepen and allow every level of your being to incorporate owl energy.

I will count to three.

When I reach three,

You will be at your desired level of relaxation or alertness.

One.

Two.

Three.

A barred owl has been roosting in the pines behind my home for the last month. I live in an urban area so it is surprising. She has come the last three morning. We have starred at each other. I appreciate this meditation because it has brought me into greater understanding about why this owl is in my life at this time. Thank you!

Love the owl imagery. I would love some longer versions of your animal wisdom recordings eventually. Maybe short ones too. I meditate to all then frames depending on what time limitations I have.i love this one
