Good morning.
My name is Susan D'Intino and I want to welcome you to this brand new day.
What we're going to be doing in this very brief meditation is getting ready for a perfectly wonderful day and I like to start my day with this prayer,
A couple deep breaths and get on my way.
So when you don't have a great deal of time to do a prolonged meditation,
Then I invite you to tune into this one.
So let's begin.
There will be a bell at the end of the meditation.
Take a nice deep breath in through the nose to the count of four.
Hold for the count of four and release for the count of four.
Inhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Release one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And again,
Inhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And one more time.
Inhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Let your body totally and completely relax from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
All your muscles are sublimely relaxed.
And now we'll begin a brief prayer.
Dear God,
Spirit,
Divine,
Universe.
As I start this day,
I want to say thank you for my health,
My family,
My life.
I promise to meet everyone today with kindness and compassion,
Including myself.
Any and all challenges I may face,
I promise to do so with grace.
