There was a fish that lived in a lake surrounded by a forest of tall beautiful trees.
One day the fish looked out of the water and saw this beautiful bird taking its flight from tree to tree.
It was so free,
Mesmerized.
The fish fell in love with the bird and would watch it from the lake from distance from time to time.
But you see,
Fish desire and love was seeped with fear that if it came out of water it wouldn't be able to breathe.
We all have felt in our aching bones fear of death,
Fear of rejection,
Fear of failing,
Fear of getting hurt,
Fear of becoming nothing,
Fear of losing oneself,
Fear of the unknown,
Fear of ending the known,
Fear of no return.
And as time passed,
Many fish in the lake fell in love with the birds taking their flights above.
But then there was this one fish who fell in love with a bird too.
But this fish was different.
Different because its desire and love was not seeped with fear.
It didn't care if it was out of water as if it knew that inner knowing,
That inner trust that it will be okay even without breathing.
It will be able to live.
That inner knowing,
That trust that moves the worlds.
And that fish left the lake.
It came out of the water.
And somewhere above,
A bird took a flight from tree to tree,
From sky to sky,
With a fish by its side.
