Relax with the sound of sea waves and the soothing call of the whale, this poem invites you to enter a dream state of your consciousness. To take a journey to become the whole nature of existence. To feel with things we are so much part of them that we understand the innermost elements of their being. You are the ocean, the whale, the birds, the boat, the wind, the melody, the sky above, you are the dream, and the dreamer. You are the life that permeates through everything. Best with headphones.

I woke up with the memory of you and the green sea.

Strands of your hair playing with the ocean's breeze.

Your restless eyes illuminate as you tell stories of rough tides and safe harbors.

To sail the boat on these waters,

An element of unknowing.

You say you will travel the world and conquer the sea.

While I conquer,

What arises in me?

I'm wrapped in a blanket of a nostalgic weave.

My cold skin turns warm as I marvel at the beauty that unfolds around me.

It's both strange and wonderful.

This state of being,

Nameless,

Unperceivable,

Yet a familiar territory.

Am I dreaming of you?

Or are you dreaming of me?

Or are we both a dream of the sea?

Some memories linger,

Traces of a journey.

The soul can never forget the feeling of longing and loving.

Together we were on an odyssey.

Perhaps many storms were calmed within and outwardly.

A knowing,

A danger,

A possibility we existed before in different versions or the same forms.

For all I know,

In that moment,

I truly belonged.

I became the sea,

The waves,

The boat,

The sail,

The birds that perched the island and the island itself.

The melody wind carries and the wind.

The ground beneath the feet and the feet.

The sky above the clouds and the shy sun.

I am feeling with you.

I am breathing with you.

I am closer to you than your pulse.

I am you.

Your eyes.

Your stories.

Every version of you that ever existed exists on the time quantum,

Interwoven,

Interconnected.

Is anyone or anything separate?

How can it be?

There is no another.

What do we truly want in life?

To love.

To be loved in ways unimaginable.

What do we want from life?

Inspiration.

So I witness the allure of your love and I nurture the desire to lose myself.

The heart.

The heart knows beyond the reason.

Am I dreaming of you?

Or are you dreaming of me?

Or are we both a dream of the sea?

A well chosen verse from Rumi which reminds us of what we really want of life: to love and be loved. And that love is available always and anywhere to all of creation.
