Hello.
It's lovely to have you here this morning.
Whether today is a busy day or not,
Whether you're going anywhere or not,
Whether there's a lot on your mind or not,
In this moment,
You and me,
We're gonna put all of that to one side.
If any of it starts poking in while we're doing this,
Notice it,
But you don't have to feed it.
This moment was all about slowly,
Gently starting to exist.
Find a position that feels comfortable to you,
Whether that's sitting up,
Lying down or something in between.
You can have your eyes open or shut,
Whatever makes you feel safe in this moment.
Take a deep breath in,
Feel your lungs and your ribs expand.
And slowly,
Gently release it.
If it's quiet,
That's okay.
If it makes a noise,
That's okay too.
Let's take another deep breath in,
Focusing in on that being of fullness,
Aliveness,
And then slowly letting it out again.
Letting your body relax as you breathe out the stress.
Keep breathing at a pace that feels right to you,
Just feeling that gentle air in and out.
Adjust your position if you need to.
As you're doing that,
Feel the parts of your body that are in contact with the bed or the seat or the floor,
Whatever it is that's supporting you.
Routine.
Your body is beautifully and wonderfully alive.
It's working so hard to keep you going.
You can feel it right now how it moves and stretches.
Put your hand on your chest to be able to feel your heartbeat,
Steady,
Powerful,
Jumping up towards your palms.
Whatever is waiting for you today is starting from this place of peace,
Gentleness,
Grounded in yourself.
If you need it,
You can take yourself back there whenever you want.
Think about an intention or an affirmation that you'd like to take out into the rest of your day.
You might already know what it is.
How would you like to be today?
How would you like to show up for yourself?
What,
In this moment,
Do you feel you need?
Might be a quality like peace,
Authenticity,
Kindness,
Rest,
Courage,
Flexibility,
Stability.
It could even be an element,
A person or a type of plant or animal that has a quality that you want for yourself.
Of little things.
Let's take our last breath in together,
Holding that ideal word or image in your mind as you breathe in.
Breathe out,
Letting your body settle.
The day is just beginning and here you are alive in hell Have a bit of a wriggle if you like,
To bring you more into the here and now.
If your eyes were closed,
Gently open them when it feels right.
