Settle in,
Get comfy and get ready for a journey to find love.
Taking a couple of relaxed breaths in and out,
Settling into this time together,
Feeling your muscles relaxing,
Your body sinking into the surface beneath you,
And easily breathing for the next few moments together.
I want you to picture yourself standing on a beach,
Somewhere tropical,
Perhaps Hawaii,
Maybe somewhere in the Caribbean,
Maybe somewhere else,
And you are getting ready to board a beautiful catamaran for a day at sea.
You look around and notice the group of people you will be spending the day with.
These people have travelled from all over the world to experience this beautiful time on the ocean.
You make your way on board,
Taking careful steps up and finding your perfect spot on the catamaran.
You feel that beautiful sun on your face,
A gentle breeze,
And the temperature is perfect.
You climb out on the netting so that you are right at the front of the catamaran,
The perfect view of everything ahead of you.
The catamaran moves out slowly to the deeper water while you take in the scenery around you,
Looking at the islands that are close by,
Turning back every once in a while to see the land fading away where you boarded,
And listening to the excited talking,
The chitter-chatter around you,
Your fellow travellers.
You are focused on the ocean,
The smells,
The sights,
The sunshine,
And just this beautiful experience,
Feeling the boat moving yet feeling grounded,
Gently covering the waves and receiving the little splash here and there,
Gliding out deeper and deeper,
Hearing the birds and seeing the birds flying by.
Off in the distance,
You see movement in the water,
But you aren't sure if it was just your eyes playing tricks on you,
Or you wanting to see something,
So you just keep scanning the water,
Looking for splashes,
Looking for little peaks of animals,
Maybe a whale,
Or a dolphin,
Perhaps a sea turtle,
Scanning back and forth,
Hopefully,
Excitedly.
You notice the sun reflecting off of the water,
Making it appear as though it's sparkling.
Straight ahead,
You see the most beautiful sight,
A gigantic humpback whale,
Coming up and out of the water,
And slamming down with a huge splash.
The crowd cheers,
Your heart soars,
This is what you came for.
You feel the boat come to a stop,
So that the group can observe for the next few moments together,
This whale,
Hoping and wondering if there are more.
Off to the left,
Another whale breaches.
Everyone on the boat is silent this time,
Completely mesmerized,
Thinking about the size of these giant creatures,
And yet the grace that they possess.
Straight ahead again,
That same whale comes up.
This time,
You can see a giant fin,
Almost like it's waving.
You feel like time has frozen,
Like this experience is such a gift,
Such a magical time.
And off to the right now,
You see dolphins,
Jumping and playing,
Splashing around,
There's a whole pod,
Nobody else has noticed yet.
This is your special moment with the dolphins,
You feel a connection,
Like you are having a special,
Private moment,
Receiving love,
Receiving a sense of joy and fun.
And the others on the boat are now noticing the dolphins as well.
It's as though the ocean has exploded with life,
The whales are jumping,
The dolphins are playing,
And now right under you,
Under the netting of the catamaran,
Is a sea turtle,
Swimming peacefully by,
Spreading love,
Spreading wisdom,
Spreading peace.
You have a quick moment of eye contact with this ancient being.
You feel a spark in your chest,
Feeling a recharge of love,
A special connection with this sea turtle.
You can hear the dolphins playing,
You can hear the crowd cheering for the whales.
It's a beautiful,
Beautiful,
Natural show that you get to witness.
Everyone on the boat becomes silent,
In awe,
Completely blessed,
And just taking in all of this action,
All of these beautiful moments,
Feeling pure gratitude for the experience.
The whales dip beneath the surface,
The dolphins jump away,
Further out to sea,
And the sea turtle has passed long ago.
So the catamaran starts moving once again.
As you sit alone on the netting,
You think about what it would be like to share this moment with a partner,
Someone that you love,
And someone who loves these experiences just as much as you do,
And you feel a little tingle of hope,
Knowing that there must be someone out there in this world who is perfect for you.
You begin to daydream about this person,
This partner,
Who would be perfect for you.
Maybe you start to think about things that they would like to do,
Hobbies,
Sports,
Maybe they like reading,
Going for hikes,
Perhaps they are a foodie and enjoy specific meals.
Take a moment to think about those things that you would love in a partner.
And now,
I want you to think about personality traits.
Are they outgoing,
Or are they more introverted?
Are they emotionally intelligent?
Perhaps they have a great sense of humor and can make you laugh anytime,
Anyplace.
Maybe they are full of integrity.
Perhaps they are authentic,
Real.
Maybe they are very artistic,
Fashionable,
Maybe they love family,
Kids.
Think about some of those personality traits that you would love in a partner.
And now thinking about some of their belief systems,
And how you would like that to align with yours.
Perhaps they are spiritual,
Or they have a specific religion,
Or set of beliefs outside of religion.
Perhaps they have a very positive mindset,
They take care of themselves,
Healthy,
Active,
Forward and open-minded,
Forward thinking,
Open-minded.
So thinking about your own belief systems,
And knowing what it is that you seek in another.
Take a moment to think about that.
And now thinking about the type of relationship that you are seeking.
Whether it is monogamy,
And a full life partner,
Or an open relationship.
Perhaps more free and relaxed.
Just taking some time to think about what you truly seek in a partner,
In a relationship.
And now thinking about the physical appearance.
And leaving a little wiggle room,
Knowing that it is the soul that we are matching.
And that the physical is just one element of a person.
But thinking about in general,
What you feel attracted to.
Maybe there is a specific feature,
Maybe you really like looking into light colored eyes,
Or really deep dark eye color.
Perhaps you know that you like a person who is well-kept tidy.
Perhaps you know that the person you would love to be with is healthy,
Moves their body daily,
Takes care of themselves.
So take a moment just to pick out a couple of features that you really,
Really know you would love.
But leaving room.
As you come out of this daydream,
Back onto the catamaran,
You feel your heart glowing.
With hope,
Love,
And just this deep knowing that they are out there.
Your person is out there.
Looking out at the water,
At those sparkles from the sun.
Feeling that breeze blowing,
That warm sun on your face.
And the odd little splash from the ocean.
You feel the netting that you're sitting on moving and shifting a little bit as someone approaches.
You're so busy in this moment remembering the whales,
The dolphins,
That beautiful sea turtle.
And then about your daydream,
Thinking about that perfect partner for you.
You feel a presence next to you,
But you don't look.
You have this very mystical feeling.
This energy next to you feels different.
It feels right.
Your heart is fluttering.
You take a deep breath and you turn to look at the person next to you.
Noticing some of those features that you just thought about.
And seeing in their eyes that this is the person you just described in your daydream.
Your heart rate speeds up.
They are looking at you.
You are looking at them.
And your souls are locked.
Both of you know exactly what is going on.
It feels like you are being reunited with an old friend.
But you have never met this person before.
You hold each other's hands and just keep looking.
Breathing.
Feeling their energy.
Just knowing this is your person.
You take a couple of moments.
You can keep staring into each other's eyes.
Or perhaps you have a conversation.
Take the time.
Feel into their energy.
And enjoy every moment.
You continue to hold each other's hands.
Feeling the magic of the ocean.
Knowing that everything happened exactly as it was meant to.
You were brought together on this catamaran.
In this beautiful tropical paradise.
On this specific day.
For a reason.
Both are looking out at the ocean.
Feeling equally surprised and confused at how this happened.
And how you didn't notice each other before.
Enjoying the catamaran.
The splashes.
This magical feeling inside.
Sneaking glances at one another.
Every couple of moments.
Checking to see that they are still there.
That they are real.
And your beautiful sea turtle appears once again.
Making eye contact with you.
You send this beautiful creature.
Love and thanks.
Watching the turtle swim away.
The catamaran has looped back.
And is heading back to shore.
Splashing through the waves.
You feel blessed.
You feel blissful.
And as the catamaran slides on the beach.
You climb out together.
Hand in hand.
And decide to go for a nice long walk down the beach.
And get to know each other even more.
You are viewing yourself from above.
Watching you and this partner.
Walking hand in hand.
Laughing.
Feeling so comfortable.
Walking off into the distance.
Feeling this beautiful tug in your heart.
This knowing that that moment.
Or one that is similar.
Will happen very soon for you.
Locking in the memory.
Locking in the hope.
And locking in the love.
That you feel right now.
And taking a moment to turn your head back out to sea once again.
Remembering the beautiful experience you just had.
Feeling that warm sun on your face.
Hearing the waves.
Listening to the birds.
And taking a couple of breaths in and out.
Feeling into your physical body once again.
Feeling the surface beneath you.
Starting to move your fingers and toes.
Maybe shifting your head around a little bit.
Coming back into your human form.
Taking a moment to relax.
Taking a nice deep breath in.
And out.
And when you're ready.
Opening up your eyes.
