This meditation track helps kids reduce everyday anxiety and worry. It can be practiced with their eyes open or closed and is particularly helpful for children who tend to overthink, take things too seriously, or are experiencing big emotions. Hello.

Affirmations are a simple and effective way to help calm,

Busy minds.

They are positive statements that begin to feel and become true when repeated.

This activity has been taken directly from my book,

The Panic Button Book for Kids,

Also known in North America as Why Do I Feel So Worried?

A Kids Guide to Coping with Big Emotions.

Now,

After every affirmation,

Either repeat them out aloud or take a deep breath in and out as though you can breathe the words into every part of your body.

Let's begin.

I am safe.

I am a good kid.

Trying my best is a great place to start.

My brain is amazing.

I allow myself to have fun.

I choose to feel peaceful.

It's safe for me to breathe deeply.

Interruptions are okay.

Mistakes help me learn.

I relax with every breath I take.

I am calm and comfortable.

Congratulations.
