You can lie down in your bed or sit with your back supported.
Make sure you feel warm and safe.
Close your eyes gently and take a slow deep breath in and breathe out slowly.
Now we are going to leave behind all the thoughts from today.
You are here now and there is nothing to worry about.
It is time to relax and sleep.
Feel how your body becomes heavy.
Feel your legs,
Arms and your whole body relaxing.
As you breathe in,
You breathe in peace.
As you breathe out,
You let go of any tension.
Let's begin our journey into sleep.
Now imagine you are in a forest.
The sun is setting and the sky is painted with soft colors,
Pink,
Orange and purple.
The air is fresh and the trees around you are tall and quiet.
You are walking on a soft path made of grass and leaves.
As you walk,
Feel the soft ground under your feet.
Listen to the sound of your footsteps.
The forest is calm and you are part of this peaceful place.
You see a small river nearby.
The water is clear and flows gently,
Making a soft relaxing sound.
You walk closer to the river and sit down on a smooth rock by the water.
You dip your hands in the cool water,
Feeling its gentle flow.
The sun slowly goes down and the sky gets darker.
The first stars begin to shine about you.
The sound of the river,
The cool air and the beauty of the stars make you feel peaceful and calm.
Now imagine lying down on the soft grass by the river.
The ground is warm and you feel safe.
The sound of the river is like a lullaby,
Gently helping you relax even more.
Feel your body becoming heavier as if the earth is holding you.
You don't have to do anything,
Just let go and relax.
The stars above are shining bright and you feel a deep connection with the night sky.
The universe is big and quiet,
You are part of it.
Everything is calm and you are at peace.
Let your breath be soft and slow,
Like the gentle waves of the river.
Each breath takes you deeper into relaxation,
Deeper into sleep.
As the night gets darker,
The stars seem closer,
Almost like they are watching over you.
You are safe and you are alive.
There is nothing you need to do now,
Except rest.
Your body feels so heavy and your mind is calm.
The thoughts from the day are far away,
Like distant clouds in the sky.
You feel calm,
Relaxed and sleepy.
Imagine yourself drifting like a leaf on the water,
Floating gently down the river.
The water is soft and it carries you peacefully throughout the night.
You are safe and everything is calm.
As you float,
The stars guide your way.
The night is quiet and the only sound you hear is the soft water and the gentle wind in the trees.
Feel how your body is more and more relaxed.
Every part of you feels heavy and warm.
Your head,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
All of them are completely relaxed.
Your arms and hands feel soft and peaceful.
Your back and legs are sinking deeper into the ground,
Fully relaxed.
Your whole body feels calm and peaceful.
You are ready to sleep now.
Let yourself drift deeper and deeper into sleep.
The night is here to take care of you.
You are safe,
You are calm and you are loved.
Sleep is coming naturally now.
Your breath is slow and easy.
With each breath you feel more peaceful and more ready to sleep.
Now let yourself fall into a deep,
Restful sleep.
Your body is completely relaxed and your mind is at peace.
Feel yourself floating deeper and deeper into the soft darkness of the night.
You are safe,
