Welcome.
This meditation is for the beautiful phase of pregnancy.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position for you.
Bring over any props you need to support you during this time.
Pillows or blankets,
Anything that will make you feel nice and cozy.
You may close your eyes or find a fixed gazing point.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Release any breath you are holding and take a nice slow inhale in and exhale side out.
Do that again at your own pace.
Inhale and exhale side out.
Breathe comfortably now in and out of your nose at a pace that is comfortable for you today.
If it feels good to you in this moment you may bring one hand to your heart space and one to your womb space.
You can also just bring your awareness to these areas if it does not feel comfortable to place your hands there today.
I invite you to picture a beautiful glowing light at your heart center.
This light can be any color that you choose that you associate with the bond with the love between you and your child.
This could even be more than one color.
Just allow yourself to observe this glowing light in your heart space.
Perhaps you feel some warmth from this light if that's what you need or maybe even a cooling sensation.
Just allow yourself to take in however this light makes you feel,
However this light wants to move through you.
See this light begin to move downward,
Extending to your womb space,
Reaching the heart of your little one.
Watch as this light moves back and forth between your heart and their heart.
Does it move at a consistent pace?
Is it picking up speed?
Is the light beginning to grow brighter and brighter?
How does your body feel as this light is exchanged between the two of you?
Gradually this light now begins to move beyond your heart and their heart,
Moving through your body.
This light combines both your love and their love and it reaches all of the tight and dark corners in the body,
The aching corners,
The areas that need soothing.
Whether it's physical soothing from the different pains or experiences of pregnancy or even mental and emotional,
Allowing any challenging feelings,
Any conflicting feelings,
Any emotions that are more difficult to process,
Allowing that light to reach those places where those are held.
Allow this loving light to soothe it,
To bring you ease,
To bring you comfort.
This light from the two of you reminds you that you are both in this together.
Together you create this loving space.
This light living on within the both of you,
Even well beyond pregnancy,
Well beyond their birth.
They carry some of your light and you carry some of theirs.
Seeing now this light expand beyond your body just as it will when this baby is born.
This light now begins to surround you,
Encircling you in a safe and loving cocoon.
Trust that this loving light will protect you throughout your pregnancy,
Helping you to feel comforted,
Helping you to feel at ease,
Helping you to feel safe,
Helping you to weather the many ups and downs of pregnancy.
Even in the more difficult physical or mental moments,
This light is always here to protect you,
To guide you,
To remind you of love.
Remember this circle of love,
This light,
As you move through your day.
Begin to draw your light back inward and come back into your physical body,
Your physical space,
Allowing your body to make any gentle movements you need.
Gently blink your eyes open.
