Key 5,
The Connector.
There is nothing more fulfilling than knowing your role in life and then being paid good money for doing what you love doing.
When you love the work you do,
You will never work again,
It is said.
It had taken the man 10 years to discover his mΓ©tier.
After being made redundant in his mid-forties,
He set about with Gusto searching for a new career and a new direction in life.
A big redundancy check meant he wasn't desperate,
But there was an inner desire calling him.
He wasn't getting any younger and he sensed a calling,
But could not put his finger on it.
He became obsessive about business networking.
He found he could network at breakfast,
Lunch and dinner.
His partner didn't mind,
As it kept him from getting under her feet.
She'd lost count of the times he'd come back though,
Proclaiming he'd found his perfect niche.
She got a bit annoyed though,
When he told her proudly of people who were doing business together as a result of his introductions.
He had become well known on all the new social media platforms and had thousands of loyal followers.
People trusted him and liked both his pearls of wisdom and his sense of humour.
He was deep down a really nice guy who only wanted to help.
After 10 years of ducking and dabbling,
The redundancy money had been frittered away on a number of aborted franchise opportunities.
Now in his mid-50s,
He really didn't want to have to touch his pension.
He was beginning to think that he would never find his thing.
At the network events he frequented,
It was common practice for everyone to share what they did with the people they met.
One grey Monday morning,
A lady he met asked him a question that he'd never considered.
What's your passion?
She said.
I like connecting people,
He answered after a short pause.
And she said,
How would you feel if I wrote you a cheque then putting me in touch with my perfect customers?
If you were attuned to seeing Auras,
You would have seen a bright flash above the man's head.
