Hello and welcome to the Travel with Meditation podcast.

My name is Pam and I am honored to accompany you on this journey today.

Please only listen to this podcast if you are in a situation where it is safe for you to potentially fall asleep.

Being fully in the present moment is a precious gift that we can give ourselves.

I invite you to accept this gift along our journey today.

Let's start slowly.

Getting into a comfortable position and leaving the back and head relaxed.

Now exhale deeply and release the air gently.

Leaving your body more and more relaxed.

Exhale again and release the air slowly.

Feeling your body getting lighter in each breath.

Leave all the worries aside and just feel your breath inhale and release the air slowly and each time you relax even more.

Notice if there is any part of your body that is tense,

Strained or fidgeting.

Simply notice this and notice throughout the journey as it lessens.

Note the air coming in and out of your nose.

Note your belly filling and emptying with air.

Note the temperature of air coming in and out of your nose.

Just watch your breath without judgment and if any thoughts invade your mind,

It's okay.

They are coming and let them go.

Visualize that you are at the top of a ramp with 15 levels or 15 steps staircase.

Whatever is more comfortable for you.

Imagine the size,

Materials and colors that make up the ramp or staircase.

In every level you go down,

You'll get more and more relaxed.

You go down the first level or step 15,

You reach the end of the ramp or stairs and come across a place in nature.

This is the most beautiful place you've ever seen.

It may be that you've been here before,

You may recognize it or may be a place that you've never seen.

But it's wonderful and it makes you feel safe,

Quiet,

And confident.

Imagine that you can receive all the positive energy that this place has to offer.

In this place you have no worries,

No negative thinking,

Only peace.

Your mind is empty.

Nothing worries you.

You are totally relaxed and ready to move on with your life.

Be in the present moment and explore this wonderful place.

You are moving along a smoothly paved path.

Bright green trees are seen to your left on top of perfectly green grass.

The sun is creating beautiful shadows under the trees,

But it is slowly setting.

To the left of the grass is a peaceful river.

As you look up above the river you notice a familiar and iconic structure.

The one and only Eiffel Tower.

You notice its grand structure and one of a kind design.

You move along the path and under some weeping willow trees.

You are on your way to enter the Eiffel Tower.

As you move under one final weeping willow tree you emerge underneath the international treasure.

The sky peaks through the opening of the bottom of the Eiffel Tower as the tower gets more narrow towards the top of its structure.

You move along a short path until you reach the entrance of the Eiffel Tower.

Whatever you prefer you go up some stairs or an elevator.

You can choose the path that is best for you.

As you move your way up the tower you feel excitement being in the historic monument in the City of Lights.

As you exit the elevator or staircase onto the second landing of the Eiffel Tower you feel the warmness of this beautiful evening.

The sky is now showing twinges of orange and pink coloring.

As you move towards the banister you see the sweeping views of Paris as far as meets the eye.

As you look to your left you see that same familiar river of sand flowing under the Eiffel Tower.

At this view the hustle and bustle of the city doesn't seem so fast.

The buildings of the city seem similar in their light gray color even though they are all unique.

Let this be a reminder for us to remember to zoom out when we get stuck in the details of life.

As you move around the second floor the fundamental structures of the Eiffel Tower surround you.

You feel the iron up close and realize that this one ordinary piece is part of a much more beautiful structure.

You come across a golden telescope and take a look inside.

You notice details below.

You see people walking,

Taking in the beautiful evening.

These moments make you realize again the power of perspective.

You can stay up here and enjoy the view as long as you would like.

The sun is slowly setting.

Waiting for you soon below is a beautiful sight.

Seeing the Eiffel Tower all lit up in lovely sparkling lights.

If you would like to fall asleep,

Stop listening gently and doze off.

When you are ready,

Bring your awareness back to the flow of your breathing.

In and out.

In and out.

Feel the cool breath in your nose and your throat.

Notice the natural movement of your tummy as you breathe in and out.

Be aware of your full body as it rests against where you are resting.

Bring your attention to your toes and give them a little wiggle.

Now bring your attention to your fingers and give them a little wiggle.

Give your shoulders a slight shrug.

Gently rock your head from side to side.

Let yourself be aware of the room again and all of the sounds close by.

And when you feel ready,

You can open your eyes.

Feeling refreshed,

Relaxed and ready for the day.
