In this very moment,
Let's pause and take some much needed time for ourselves.
Take this moment just for you.
A moment that is entirely yours.
Seat yourself in an upright posture with your spine straight.
Close your eyes.
Focus your attention inwards.
Directly on your body,
Bringing your awareness to any tension or areas of tightness.
If you are able to,
Relax into these areas after bringing your awareness to them.
Doing so gradually whilst feeling gratitude to your body for supporting and carrying you on life's journey.
Turn your awareness to your breathing.
Breathe deeply and deliberately for a few moments,
Focusing on the sound of your breath,
The feeling of the air on your nostrils,
The movement of your chest,
And the steady beat of your heart.
Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale… Exhale… As you exhale,
Feel your body relaxing even further.
Notice all emotional and physical resistance leaving your body.
Inhale the loving acceptance that the universe is constantly providing you.
Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale… Exhale… Exhale… Acknowledge any negative thoughts or worries that float to the surface of your mind.
Launch these thoughts as a witness and pay attention to the feeling they evoke in your body.
Be fully aware of any inner resistance.
Repeat the first part and listen to the second part of the following affirmation.
As you hear and repeat the words,
Embody them.
Notice your body filling full of golden light,
Pure,
Universal potential.
Imagine the universe enveloping your being in pure,
Universal love and acceptance.
Surrender.
I will tend the garden of my life with renewed creative efforts.
Surrender.
I will plant the seeds of vitality,
Prosperity and contentment.
Surrender.
I will water them with self-confidence and conviction and wait with patience and humility for the universe's bounty.
Surrender.
I relinquish all expectations.
I am acceptance.
I am energy.
I am love.
All is well.
Bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel the surface on which you are sitting,
The temperature of the room around you on your skin,
And the ambient noise of your immediate surroundings.
Slowly,
Open your eyes and remain seated in place.
