Reground with a meditation connecting to the Earth, Sky, and everything in between. In this meditation, we will connect with our breath and become interconnected with all things. When we can return to the breath, we can find and cultivate presence in all things.

Hello friend,

I'm so glad you're here.

Thank you for joining me for this mindfulness practice,

This meditation and the connection of the earth and the sky and all that exists in between.

We'll start by finding a lying down posture,

Whether that's on the earth,

On your mat or in a bed.

Any inclined posture that works in your body.

Perhaps you bring something underneath the knees or the head,

Allowing yourself to be comfortable wherever you are.

Take a deep breath in and let it go.

Deep breath in and let it go.

Just finding your breath here.

Allow yourself to tune in,

Letting go of thoughts outside this moment.

When you find that you may be pulled into a thought,

Come back to the breath.

Take a deep breath in and let it go.

Deep breath in and let it go.

Deep breath in and allowing your exhale to help you soften into the earth beneath you.

Each exhale allowing you to sink deeper and deeper into the earth.

Becoming one.

Your legs get heavy.

Your arms get heavy.

Your head and neck heavy on the earth.

Your whole body is heavy.

Each exhale allowing you to sink deeper and deeper.

Connecting to the earth.

Allowing yourself to ground here.

Deep breath in and let it go.

Now allowing your inhales to help you connect to the lightness.

Every inhale bringing you back to the surface of the earth.

Getting lighter and lighter.

Soon you may feel light enough that you feel your body coming off the earth towards the stars above.

Connecting the stars,

The sky,

The whole universe.

Allowing your body to feel lighter and lighter.

Letting go of things that might keep you connected to the earth.

Holding you back.

Take a deep breath in.

Let it go.

Coming back to your breath.

Now allowing your inhales and your exhales to help you find balance of groundedness and lightness.

Perhaps your breath is bringing you back so your feet can touch the ground but you still feel the connections of the stars.

Coming back to your breath.

The connection of all things.

As you find yourself connected to the earth and sky.

Perhaps we understand that there is no separation between the two.

The interconnectedness of all things exists within us always.

Anytime you find that you're feeling ungrounded or perhaps too heavy.

You can come back to this and remember that you are grounded but also made of stardust.

Take a deep breath in.

Let it go.

Deep breath in.

As we begin to end our practice,

We'll dedicate the effort and merit that we've cultivated here to someone else.

Bring to mind a being or beings that you want to dedicate your practice here to.

Let's dedicate this practice on a breath.

Take a deep breath in.

Let it go.

When you're ready,

Begin to bring movements back to your fingers and toes.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.
