• “WACURI™ - Journey to The Song of Owls" is a five-minute guided visualization that invites you to contemplate a deep sonic heart relationshop with the wise owl, a key being in mythology and symbolism. • This journey is led by Dan Spinner, a 30-year Life Coach, Aikido Master and Mindfulness Teacher, who was the CEO for the Deepak Chopra Foundation, and advisor to other organizations dedicated to positive change.. • Like other Wacuri™ journeys, the goal is to enable busy modern people to build the habit of quickly dropping into a deep state of connectedness with self, others and the sacred universe. • Wacuri™ is short for “Wake Up Curious,” and is a method of five-minute guided social meditation – followed by deep sharing among the participants – developed by Dan and his partners in Wacuri.

Take a nice couple of deep breaths in your own rhythm and come with me on a Journey to the sound of an owl Imagine if you will that it's dusk Almost dark and you're standing at the edge of a forest or a field It'd be somewhere you know or maybe somewhere you're inventing And you're listening You can hear some crickets and maybe the rustle of leaves Maybe even Something crawling in the forest of the field And suddenly without quite expecting it It's a long low hoot of owl just Imagine it Getting ready to begin its night hunting Establishing territory communicating And there's nothing quite like the sound and so you'll linger a while Hoping to hear it again Hoping to hear it again And sure enough not in any quite predictable way The owl hoots again And if you listen carefully It almost sounds as if it echoes Ascending this vibration and tone out across its territory signaling to its fellow species Sensing prey Sensing danger Celebrating the night air You were to linger a little longer You might hear a response Imagine that you do Off in the distance further than your owl Another owl response And perhaps if you're really lucky the conversation takes place These haunting sounds Low sounds out across the landscape through the forest Take a moment now And imagine the song of owls And as you're doing that imagine that all across the forest you hear a sound And imagine you hear a sound And imagine the sound of owls And imagine you hear a sound And imagine you hear a sound And imagine you hear a sound And as you're doing that imagine that all across the planet when night time falls rolling across In its own sacred time And the owls start singing To all across the planet in every night time moment Owls are communicating With one another with their environment with us Hear the song of owls hear the hooting of owls across an entire planet Many species many sizes And the song of owls is a song of owls that is a song of owls that is a song of owls that is a song of owls Just imagine it You know,

This is the eternal song of owls from generations past generations into the future Around every part of the planet where owls live Hear it hear it in your heart hear it in your soul And be thankful As we celebrate these wonderful creatures And when you're ready in your own time go back into the room and have a wonderful day

The narrator’s audio quality isn’t the greatest, but I still enjoyed the meditation immensely. I don’t think the audio took away from the meditation at all. Very good — I’ll be listening to again.

This was paradise. Brought so much harmony to me. I liked who you could hear the leading owl from the right ear, and the echo was followed through in the left ear. It made me feel like I was just surrounded by these owls, and their sound. I night I listen to the owls outside my home. There use to be one outside my window, but it comes back every-now- and then. Such elegant and intelligent creatures! Thank-you so much for this meditation. Namastè, Ashlyn

The idea of owls calling in turn, around the planet, as day turns to night was profound and beautiful. I share your love owls, so thank you so much for creating this simple and lovely meditation. ❤️🦉
