
Becoming The Universe With The Microcosmic Orbit Meditation
The body is a microcosm of the universe, with the belly representing the earth (or the inward grounding) and the head the heaven (or the outward vastness). The microcosmic orbit meditation involves circulating energy around the body as it does the universe. Starting from your lower back, learn to guide the energy upward along your spine, over the top of your head, and down the front of your body to the pelvic floor. This guided meditation will help you attune your breath with the flow of energy, encouraging relaxation, focus, and a sense of interconnectedness with the flow of the cosmos. Towards the end we will expand our energy from the body into the whole universe.
