Let's find a comfortable place for our body.
Lengthening our spine,
Imagine golden threads,
Lifting your head,
Your shoulders towards the ceiling.
And then we're going to settle down,
Soften a bit.
So we are a little bit alert,
A little bit relaxed.
Taking one or two deeper breaths.
Bringing our attention inwards to attend to our own needs,
Our own inner world,
Inner self.
And letting the breath be just a little bit deeper for a moment as we relax and become still.
So we're going to relax our body first and even if we're seated we can still relax quite a lot.
Just keep a little bit of muscle tension so we stay upright.
Our spine is tall.
So let's soften our forehead,
Our scalp,
The muscles we chew with.
Our expression is melting,
Jaw releasing.
Our neck is spacious and comfortable,
Shoulders sliding away from our ears.
Let gravity draw them down.
Arms soft and heavy somewhere.
Going to relax our back.
If we're seated let's make sure it's still.
So spacious and upright.
Chest and upper back softening a little.
Stomach area,
Mid back softening.
Belly,
Lower back softening.
Our hips,
Our thighs becoming soft and heavy.
We're releasing the weight of our hips and thighs so we're not holding them up at all.
Then to our lower legs and our feet.
Somewhere comfortable,
A little bit softer.
Long smooth breaths.
So at this time of year our thoughts turn to giving gifts.
I invite you to consider the other end of the seesaw,
To stay in balance and also to receive.
We cannot give without first receiving,
Without exhausting ourselves.
So to start with we're going to receive the light and the love.
And then we'll give some little gifts to our loved ones and to all of humanity.
Most of us are better at giving,
It's the masculine trait and our culture tends to prefer that.
But let's practice the feminine to receive.
So as we breathe in let's imagine prana,
Loving light,
Blowing in without in-breath.
And out again like a tide.
Our breath is comfortable.
We're taking slightly deeper breaths than normal,
Without strain or struggle,
Inviting in the prana without in-breath.
We'll take those slightly deeper breaths,
Imagining the light love flowing into us from all around.
Imagine it any way you wish,
As energy or as light or some other way,
Blowing in to fill your lungs.
Imagine that prana coming to you from miles away now,
Flowing inwards,
Over roads,
Over gardens,
Over the sea,
Flowing in from above you and beneath you.
Exhaling all the way back again,
Filling your lungs comfortably.
And exhaling easily.
Because those breaths are deeper they might become slower.
We can allow that to happen,
It happens naturally.
Let's imagine now that prana,
That living universal energy,
Coming from as far away as we can imagine.
Across the vast reaches of space,
The cosmos,
All that is,
From the earth.
Hearing our request and flowing in.
Expanding our mind to connect with all that is.
Receiving loving light energy from all that is.
Imagine that light love truth starting to fill your body,
Flowing around your bloodstream,
Travelling to every cell,
Every cell of your body,
Touched by the loving light energy.
And becoming full of light.
Our body becoming radiant with life force energy.
There is no shortage,
There is abundant living energy.
Invited in.
And when our body is full,
Imagine it overflowing into the energy field around us.
The oval shape,
The egg shape of living life force that surrounds our body.
Now we have received the light.
We are in a position to give a gift of light,
Love energy.
So,
As we inhale,
Imagine the life force energy filling our lungs and particularly our heart.
On the exhale,
Let's invite it to flow down our arms to our palms.
And we're going to create a bubble of light.
You can hold out your hands in your imagination or for real,
If you wish,
In the physical.
Imagine a bubble of light love forming in your hands.
Flowing down our arms from our heart.
And when that bubble of love is just the right size,
We can send it to a loved one.
And I invite you,
When you send that bubble of love,
To send it without condition.
Not for any particular purpose,
Not even for healing.
The soul knows best what to do with that loving energy.
So I invite you to just send your love.
Imagine the bubble traveling to your loved one.
Being received into their field,
Maybe they smile as they sense your love and feel a little better.
Maybe consciously,
Maybe unconsciously.
And we can smile knowing they've received our loving gift.
And we can make a few more loving gifts if we wish.
Inhaling loving light from all that is.
There is no shortage.
Forming bubbles of light.
Sending them to whomever we wish.
As many as you wish.
And lastly,
That's all.

Our strength is always magnified when we work together.
So let's imagine we're filling one large bubble for all the humans.
For Mother Earth,
Plants,
The animals,
The elements.
We're going to let it get big.

All the world sits within it.

Rest there in your own gift of loving energy.
Sharing it with all the world and feeling how that feels.
And so,

Let's slowly begin our transition back to the external world.
But there's no hurry.
Let's begin to move our body slowly and easily.
Taking any stretch your body might enjoy.
And when you're ready,
