Sleep, or lack thereof, is a major issue for many migraine warriors. Poor sleep can increase the chances of a migraine attack the following day, and worry about when the pain may return can prevent a good night's sleep too. This leaves our nervous system on high alert, providing the optimal stress background for a migraine to brew. Learning to slow down and soothe frayed nerves can lead to a more restorative sleep, which in turn may help with future migraine symptoms and minimise the impact on our lives. Please note: As this practice is designed to promote sleep, please do not listen while driving or operating heavy machinery.
