Welcome everybody today to our sound bath meditation.

My name is Ruth Mugabo,

I'm a Gong Master,

Reiki Master and Holistic Therapist and this is my sister Jane Grey.

Hello everyone,

Hope you enjoy yourself.

I'll be playing the ocean drum,

The chakra bowls,

The thunder tube and the chime.

Just to let you know that the very high vibrational frequency of a sound bath meditation brings great balance and harmony to the body by lifting your own vibration to the music's vibration.

This is called entrainment.

This works on a holistic level so it not only works on your physical body,

It works on your emotions,

On your mental state and your spiritual state.

At the end of the meditation we're going to have a five minute silence.

This is called the Shunyata and it takes you to a beautiful place of stillness and you'll still be absorbing all those beautiful energies into your body.

So if you could just lie still during that time and just absorb.

Okay.

So just relax and make yourself comfortable and feel yourself sinking into the mat beneath you.

Focus on your breath and this present moment and take three deep breaths and with each breath feel yourself relaxing and sinking and just letting go.

Release any expectations you may have and just stay in this present moment.

Now see yourself floating on a beautiful calm peaceful sea.

The waves are gently lapping at the shore and you feel very content and safe here.

Let the salt water release any negative feelings you may be holding onto today.

Let the water cleanse your emotions.

Feel these emotions being released into the sea.

I'm going to take you through a meditation of forgiveness.

Forgiving yourself or others is a process that brings you into a state of self awareness,

Well being,

Harmony and compassion.

So focus on your breathing and feel your body floating on this warm beautiful sea.

Take a little time to decide who needs forgiving in your life.

It could be a loved one,

A sibling,

A friend,

A parent or even yourself.

If you truly forgive someone it will have an amazing effect of setting you free so you can move forward in life.

It removes the shackles that slow down your progress and keeps you living in the past and dwelling on those emotions of hurt that you may be feeling towards that person or even yourself.

All these emotions and feelings need to be released,

Not internalised which will block up your energy centres and affect your well being.

Focus on your breath and realise that the past doesn't exist anymore.

All you have is the present moment.

Now see the person you are willing to forgive.

Breathe deeply and observe your feelings.

Don't identify yourself with these feelings,

Just observe them.

You are the observer seeing the bigger picture.

And the bigger picture you see are just lessons in life and experiences to help you move forward.

Open your mind to this idea and realise forgiving yourself or someone else is for your own benefit.

Forgiveness comes from deep inside the heart,

So open your heart now to this person you wish to forgive.

Each one of us comes from a place of love and one day we will all return to that place,

So send them forgiveness now.

And release any negative emotions you may be feeling towards them or yourself.

See and feel these emotions being released into the scene.

One more time.

Say to yourself,

I am grateful for the courage to forgive.

I heal my heart and fill it with peace and love.

A huge weight has now been lifted from your heart.

You are feeling lighter and lighter and at peace now and that you have done yourself a great service.

Feel the sea of awareness inside yourself.

Be aware of the stillness of the water around you which has cleansed and healed all your emotions.

The stillness of the sea becomes your stillness.

And know that you are a beautiful being of light and that all people are connected by a beautiful web of light.

To reach our full potential and to help each other along the way if we can.
