Hi unique learners, Want to learn more about table constellations? This is a very general introduction of what a table constellation can entail. In this video, I discuss 'triangulation' and how it differs from parentification. Triangulation is where the child becomes part of the relationship triangle with its parents. Triangulation in psychology occurs when a child involves one parent in a conflict with the other, often to manage their own anxiety or gain loyalty from both sides. This behavior can create emotional strain and confusion within the family dynamic, as the child may feel caught between conflicting parental loyalties. This is just one example of triangulation with a father, mother and a child. If you would like fuller details and more information on systemic work, let me know and I will make longer video's.
