Peaches (Insp By The TV Series Family)

Hi Inside Timer community and thank you for being here.

Today I would like to share with you a poem that I wrote that is both inspired by and dedicated to the cast of a TV series called Family which I believe aired in either the 1970s or 1980s.

An older family member of mine actually introduced me to the show and after only a couple episodes I was hooked.

This particular poem is based on the brother and sister that are on the show or rather inspired by not based on but inspired by the brother and sister that are on the show named Willie and Buddy.

I never could quite figure out whether to have a crush on Willie or to see him as the older brother I never got to have.

In fact I still have that problem today.

But anyway after watching several of the episodes this poem came to mind.

I decided to write it down and after writing it down I thought it might just be good enough to share.

So that's what I'm doing and I hope you all enjoy.

I call this poem Peaches.

More than just a brother,

A dear and trusted friend,

A bond that can't be broken,

A friendship without end.

Someone that she can count on when life has gone astray.

Someone to share her laughter with with every passing day.

Peaches he will call her to show her that he cares.

She will never tell him it's like music to her ears.

A very short poem but I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you had fun listening to it just as much as I had fun writing it.
