Good morning,
Find a comfortable seat,
Close your eyes,
Take a deep inhale,
Exhale,
Letting all the air out.
Again,
Take a deep breath in,
Even deeper than last time,
And exhale slowly,
All the way out.
Now let your breath become natural,
As you tune out the world around you,
Listening to the sounds of the rain,
The birds singing.
Visualize yourself sitting deep in a forest,
In a meadow,
Protected by a gigantic tree,
Sitting at the trunk,
Safe from the rain.
You can smell the wet earth,
Feel the cool damp ground under your seat,
The rainy breeze blowing through your hair.
Take a moment to just listen to the sounds of the meadow.
Letting the rain gently wash away any thoughts that come into your mind.
It's okay to acknowledge them,
But let the rain take them away,
As you continue to focus on the birds singing,
And the sound of the rain.
Take a moment to reflect upon one thing this morning that you are truly grateful for.
One thing.
Bring to mind one person who you are truly grateful for.
Think of how this person makes you feel.
Send that person love.
Visualize the golden,
Loving light and energy coming from your heart chakra at the center of your chest,
And floating over to where this person that you're grateful for is,
Whether they're still here on earth or not.
And in your mind's eye,
See that golden,
Loving light go right into their heart.
And finally,
Take a few moments now to visualize the rest of your day unfolding in the most perfect,
Lovely,
Wonderful way it possibly could.
Even if it feels impossible,
Allow your imagination to run wild and create for you the best possible day.
Notice how visualizing your best possible day makes you feel.
Hold on to the feeling of it,
The emotion,
And carry this emotion with you throughout the rest of your day.
You can either continue visualizing,
Or slowly open your eyes and start your most perfect,
Best day yet.
