A short meditation designed for mothers who need some time alone right now but are unable to take the time for themselves at the moment. You can practice this while your children are being wild in front of you, or if you're lucky, you can maybe even sneak into the other room for 2 minutes to reset!

You can leave your eyes open if you have to keep an eye on your children,

But if you can hide in another room,

Make your way there and close your eyes.

Take a deep breath,

Lift your shoulders up,

Pull them back and drop them down.

Visualize a golden light shining down from the sky.

Feel the light through the crown of your head slowly moving down like honey,

Coating your entire head.

Everywhere the golden light touches instantly relaxes,

Letting go of any tension.

The honey is dripping down your neck,

Golden light covering your chest,

Moving down each arm and dripping off your fingertips.

As the golden light coats your core,

Flows over your hips,

The golden light moves slowly down your legs,

And pulls at your feet before continuing straight into earth herself.

Every part of you is coated in thick sweet golden light and every part of you relaxes.

And carry this warmth and sweetness with you.

And whenever you're ready,

Open your eyes and get back out there.
