We often let the parts of us that are hurt lay abandoned somewhere within us. This meditation allows you to pause and give attention to these parts in a gentle manner. By doing this, you're embracing parts that may have been forgotten to send love and compassion to these parts of yourself. It is a short practice recommended to lay down comfortably as you listen.

Welcome to an inward motion audio.

Take a breath to prepare.

Full inhale,

Slow exhale.

Fall apart.

Fall into the parts that feel wounded,

Hurt,

Abandoned.

Wrap yourself around these parts.

Give them all your love,

Compassion,

And kindness.

Give them your attention.

We can fear going into these places,

Thinking that we may not come out.

But the truth is,

There is a freedom intending to these wounded parts of us.

There's a feeling of relief,

Even liberation,

If we sit with these parts regularly.

Checking in and sending our love.

Tune in now.

Now is your time to fall apart.

Fall into the parts that feel wounded.

Give gratitude,

Kindness,

And care.

Being with the parts of you that have been cast aside as other,

Wrong,

Or bad,

So that you might stay strong and weather on.

These parts deserve attention too.

They cannot be forgotten,

Buried under piles of protection.

They want to be seen.

Go to this layer of protection and ask to sit with these wounded parts.

Imagine them all gathering around you with stories to tell of where they've been and what they have seen.

They are all so excited to see you.

They have been waiting for you.

They desire to sit with you.

To be held,

Acknowledged,

And seen.

Notice the visuals,

The memories,

The words and phrases and ideas coming from this experience of sitting with and simply being with these wounded parts.

Sending gratitude.

A thanks to these parts for sharing these stories with you.

Promising that you will return.

And you will.

To be with these parts.

To embrace them and love them.

To see them and hear them.

To gather with them.

Gentle breath in through the nose.

A long,

Slow exhale out the mouth.
