Hello and thank you for joining me for this cosy wintry meditation.

Let's get comfortable,

You can lay down or find a comfortable seat,

However feels right for you,

Maybe light a candle and wrap a blanket around you.

Let's take a long breath in,

Energy exhale,

Feel your body is completely softening,

Your arms rest,

Your fingers are loose as your palms face up,

Let your legs soften and feel your face relax and bring your awareness to your breath.

Feel the cool air as it enters the nose and exhale with a gentle sigh like you're sighing away the day.

Inhale and exhale as you let go and release.

This is your time to truly relax.

If you do find you get distracted mentally or any noises around you,

Just come back to your breath,

Use your breath as an anchor to bring you back to the present.

Maybe you focus on the air that flows in and out of your nose or maybe you feel the rise and fall of your belly.

And let's go on a journey,

Imagine you're stepping outside,

It's a beautiful calm wintry day.

The air is so cool and fresh,

The world feels so calm,

The streets are empty and you enjoy that peaceful slow stroll.

Within you there's a sense that everything has been done for the day.

And with every step,

With every exhale,

Imagine leaving something behind on the path,

Any thoughts,

Any worries,

Any weight you've been carrying,

Let it all go.

You look above up to the beautiful dark sky and you see the stars shining down on you,

Sparkling brightly and it helps you feel so relaxed.

Your shoulders soften,

Your jaw unclenches,

Your breath naturally deepens and slows.

When you see a cosy cottage just ahead of you,

Waiting just for you,

There's a soft light shining from within,

You slowly open the door and the warm air wraps around your body.

There's the quiet crackle of a fireplace,

There's a gentle glow of candles and a softly sparkling Christmas tree.

You notice a cosy chair,

Layered with thick blankets and soft pillows,

Waiting for you.

You sit down,

Lay back and settle in.

You feel the gentle heat of the fireplace soothing your body.

Starting at your toes,

The warmth begins to spread like a golden wave through your feet and ankles,

Your calves and knees,

Your thighs and your hips.

You feel the warmth softening your back,

Your belly and your chest.

It melts across your shoulders,

Down your arms,

Into your hands and your fingertips.

The warmth rises through your neck,

Your jaw softens,

Your forehead smooths,

Your whole face is relaxed and fully at ease.

Feel the warmth in your body,

Feel the warmth in your heart and let that warmth feel like gratitude in your heart.

Feel all the love and gratitude shining brightly within you and as you rest you may want to reflect on some moments of the year,

The moments of winter that's brought you happiness,

Maybe something small.

Feel the gratitude,

Breathe it in,

Feel your whole body glowing.

Rest here for a little longer,

Enjoying the calm,

Enjoy the glow and allow yourself to completely let go.

Do stay here for as long as it feels good for you,

Enjoy resting and relaxing,

Soaking in the calm.

Thank you so much for joining me today,

I wish you a beautiful and calm rest of your day.

Namaste.
