Welcome to this meditation for letting go of outcomes and resting in the moment.

In this practice,
We will surrender control,
Embrace ease,
And allow life to unfold naturally.
There is nothing to force here,
Nothing to control.
Awareness and the ease of simply being.
Take a moment to settle in.
Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath and slowly exhale.
With each inhale,
Welcome ease.
With each exhale,
Let go of expectations.
Let go of the past.
Let go of the future.
Right now,
There is only this breath.
Bring your awareness to the natural rhythm of your breath.
No need to change it,
Just observe.
Breathe.
Feel the coolness of the inhale and the warmth of the exhale.
Now shift your attention to your body.
Notice the points of contact,
The ground beneath you,
The gentle weight of your body resting.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to sink a little deeper into stillness,
Into presence.
Imagine that you are standing by a wide flowing river.
This river represents the movement of life itself,
Constant,
Effortless,
And free.
You watch as the water moves around rocks,
Through bends,
Never resisting,
Never hesitating.
It simply flows.
As you stand at the river's edge,
Bring to mind something you've been holding onto.
An expectation,
A desired outcome,
A worry about what may or may not happen.
Gently visualize yourself releasing it into the river.
Watch as the current takes it,
Carrying it downstream,
Dissolving it into the great unfolding of life.
Notice how it feels to let go.
There's nothing to chase,
Nothing to hold,
Only the gentle movement of the present moment,
Carrying you exactly where you need to be.
Now turn your attention inward.
Feel the quiet,
Steady presence within you.
The part of you that has always been here,
Unchanged,
Untouched by striving or outcomes.
This part of you doesn't need to force.
It simply knows.
As you rest in this awareness,
Repeat silently to yourself,
I trust the unfolding of my path.
I surrender to the flow of life.
I am exactly where I need to be.
Take a moment to simply be.
Not being something or someone,
Not achieving or proving,
Just being.
Feel the breath as it moves through you,
Effortlessly,
Just as life moves through you.
There is no resistance here,
No force,
Only the ease of existence itself.
Before we close,
Take a deep breath and a slow breath out.
Feel the steadiness within you,
The peace,
The knowing that life is unfolding as it should,
Without needing you to push or pull.
You are held in this flow,
Always.
Begin to deepen your breath.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Bring awareness back to your body,
Back to the space around you.
And as you open your eyes,
Carry this sense of ease with you,
Knowing that you are free to move with life rather than against it.
