This meditation will take you to a cleansing journey to the sacred river Ganga, Nothern India, where it has been recorded. If you are feeling heaviness, tiredness and if you are feeling overwhelmed by anything the meditation will let you to dip into the Ganga waters that will purify your body and mind. Please accept small sound disruptions of the record due to natural conditions at the river and enjoy the real sound of the Ganga river stream in the background.

Hello,

My friends,

Namaste.

My name is Daniela.

I welcome you at a cleansing meditation that will cleanse your body and mind,

Release any tension and heaviness and make you relax.

You might find yourself in stress,

Overwhelmed by things,

Persons,

Tasks or problems that draw out all energy from you.

You might feel heavy on mind,

Having so many thoughts that keep you down and tired.

Let me take you to the cleansing journey to the sacred river Ganga that will remove the burden out.

Firstly,

Make sure you are feeling comfortable.

You may sit down on a chair,

On sofa.

You may lay down on the ground,

On the bed.

You may put a pillow below your head and cover with a blanket so that you can feel warm,

Cozy and comfortable.

And now,

Let me take you to the river Ganga,

Sacred river Ganga flowing in the northern India.

You are situated on a bank of Ganga.

Imagine yourself on a beach that is just along the river.

From time to time there are big stones,

But you can see nice,

Soft,

Warm sand on which you walk and enjoy its softness,

All the feelings that are coming while taking closure to the Ganga.

It's a beautiful weather,

Sun is shining and you feel warm.

You are standing on the beach,

On a soft sand,

Looking around,

Watching the huge river flowing down,

Watching the stream,

The pace of the stream,

The color of the water.

You smell water.

You smell nearby forest.

There is a fresh air that is surrounding you and you enjoy the surroundings,

Being alone on a beach at Ganga.

You feel you should sit down or maybe lay down on the sand.

You don't have so many clothes so you can feel on your skin the warm sand and you feel the ground and stretch body on the ground that is becoming relaxed.

You look up the sky and while lying down you just feel that your body needs some refresh,

Some cleansing.

You decide to go in the river.

You slowly step closer to the river.

The water is shallow in the beginning.

You can feel sand between your fingers.

You can feel already the wet sand as you are coming closer to the river.

Firstly you are coming to greet river Ganga,

Caressing her by your hands like your old friend,

Like your mother,

Like yourself.

You feel the water.

You feel any aspect of water that is coming to you,

The temperature,

The cleanness.

You feel you want to go in.

You take off the clothes you want and you slowly step in,

Firstly by one foot,

Then the other.

You can feel the water on all of your fingers.

You go deeper and you feel it above all your feet.

It touches your ankles.

The feeling is very nice.

You can feel the grounding from the bottom of the riverbed.

You feel the flow of the water on your skin and you let the water cleanse all the feet.

You step further.

The water is coming to your calf.

The water is so nice,

So fresh.

It is not cold,

Not even warm.

It is accurate.

You are going further so that the water is already at your knees.

It washes your knees,

Behind the knees.

It purifies the legs from the bottom to the knees.

You go further so that the water comes up to your thighs.

So comfortable,

So purifying.

The water is cleansing all legs slowly up.

You go further because you want more.

The water comes more up to the hips.

You can feel it on your pelvis.

It's so nice,

So refreshing.

You can feel it along your all pelvis,

Glutes.

It purifies you within the pelvic floor,

Pelvic muscles,

The organs.

You can feel the freshness from the toes through all your legs till the pelvis,

Till the hips.

You continue further so that the water increases to your lower belly and lower back.

The water carries you so softly,

So gently so that you feel the freshness,

The cleansing.

The cleansing is not only on your skin.

It goes deeper.

You can feel it also inside your body.

You can feel how it purifies your organs.

How it purifies everything that needs to be cleansed.

The water is already above your belly button and goes up closer to the chest.

You are going deeper and more of your body is in the water.

You can feel it in your hands that you just put in the water.

You can feel it in your fingertips,

Palms,

Wrists,

Elbows,

Arms.

The water is already above your breast,

On your chest,

On your upper back.

It feels so nice.

You can feel the Mother River Ganga flowing,

Flowing through you,

Through the whole body.

It is not only the river.

It is not only you.

It's the river in you.

The water is not only outside,

It's inside.

Everything is united now.

You can feel the oneness with the river.

You are the water.

You are the river.

You are the cleansing energy.

You can purify yourself,

Your body,

Your mind.

This dip in the river Ganga is so cleansing that you feel so light,

So alive,

So full of energy.

You just stand in the river,

Enjoying the stream,

Inviting water to purify more,

To cleanse more.

You are the water.

You are the son and daughter of Mother Ganga.

You are enjoying last few moments and then you slowly go back to the shore,

To the beach,

To dry your body.

You can feel sun on your skin.

So you don't feel cold when you are getting out of the river.

You can just softly sit down on the beach and let the sun dry your skin,

Tickle your hair,

Caress you as river caressed you before.

Everything is so fresh,

So light,

So clean.

Your body,

Your mind,

You feel rejuvenate and you decide to stay like this longer,

Feeling the power,

Feeling the pureness,

The light,

The energy.
