Welcome to this meditation on finding balance and potential with our healer energy.

So when our healer energy is really working in a healthy way,

It has compassion and empathy for others,

But it also has good boundaries.

Maybe you're a good listener,

But you don't let people overly dump their pain on you.

Perhaps your healthy healer energy wants to help fix and solve issues in the world,

But at the same time,

It understands the limitations of what it can do,

That you don't have to solve and fix every problem in every person on earth.

The most important part for me of understanding a healthy healer energy is recognizing that the healer has to heal themselves first.

If you go out into the world and you're broken and you're in a lot of pain and you try to fix everyone else you might do it out of different levels of resistance and you might end up creating more drama or more issues than you solve.

So when we find our inner peace and stillness,

When we heal ourselves,

That's when we can make a real difference for other people and really show up as healers.

And it doesn't have to be a vocation,

It can be.

As a healer,

You might be a doctor or a nurse,

You might be some kind of energy healer like a Reiki practitioner or a chiropractor or a massage therapist,

Or you just heal people with your attention and presence,

With your energy.

But we all have healer energy in us.

So in this meditation,

We're gonna start by seeing where we wanna heal ourselves and then go from there.

So go ahead and close your eyes.

Take a few deep breaths,

Relax your shoulders.

Draw your awareness behind your eyes into the center of your head.

And we do that to center ourselves.

So you're centering your consciousness.

And I'd like you to start by just asking yourself a question.

And the question is,

What is one area in me that needs healing in order for my inner healer to rise to his potential?

So where in you,

If you were to heal this space,

Would that help you really become the healer that you're meant to be?

Maybe with your family,

Your friends,

Maybe your society and beyond.

But what is it in you that needs reconciling first?

You may notice that even though you have countless memories related to issues in your life that may need healing and attention,

That right now in this moment,

As you ask this question,

As you sit still and breathe slowly,

Just one important thought rises to the surface like an air bubble coming up to the top of a body of water.

And you reach down with your hand and you scoop up that bubble.

And this bubble contains this image,

This energy of what you're really truly being called to heal.

Peer into this bubble and just notice what you notice.

As you start to recognize the energy or the theme,

Whether it's related to relationships,

Self-worth,

Trauma,

Some kind of sensitivity,

Pain,

Or anything else you're working on healing,

You also recognize that as you do heal this energy and pay attention to it,

It will help awaken your true inner healer.

And at some point,

It may even help you learn how to heal others.

See if you can allow yourself to embrace how you feel in this moment with the same attitude you would have towards someone you love deeply who is in pain.

Allow this attitude to really have a deep core energy of compassion.

As you look at what needs healing inside of you,

Take a moment and recognize that right now you don't have to fix anything or figure anything out.

Just see if you can feel a sense of acceptance towards whatever you're finding.

And if for any reason,

You can't seem to welcome this part of yourself,

If it's hard to look at or you're in resistance to it,

That's very understandable.

But then notice if you can welcome the part of you that is in resistance.

It's not easy to look at where we need healing in ourselves.

So if there's avoidance,

Can you accept the avoidance?

If there's anger or some kind of pulling away,

If there's a coldness,

Whatever it is,

See if you can have compassion for your response.

If there's blame,

Give yourself compassion,

Just like you would give compassion to someone you really cared about and loved in your life if they were going through something difficult.

Ask yourself what steps you need to take to really heal this inside you so you can rise to the potential of your healer.

Do you need a coach,

A guide,

A therapist?

Do you just need to sit still and be with this energy longer?

Do you need to forgive yourself or someone else?

Do you need to be more honest and right about this energy?

Are you just confused and unsure?

And so perhaps your next step is to release some of that energy of confusion or doubt.

Be really honest about what you see your next step as and just embrace it as part of your path of becoming a healer.

Make sure you're breathing and you're nice and relaxed.

And then what I'd like you to do is envision a beautiful golden light shining down,

Entering through the top of your head.

And beginning to fill in your entire body.

Notice that when light shines,

It doesn't choose which things to shine on.

It doesn't judge.

It shines on everything equally.

And it warms everything equally.

Allow this light to fill your whole body in.

As you fill in with this golden light,

Your energy begins to shift.

Perhaps you get a subtle sense of the direction that your inner healer wants to move into.

Feel a calmness as your body fills in with golden light.

And this light may want to extend out of you towards others to help them,

To heal them.

Notice that your healing can help other people heal as well.

In what way,

Shape or form do you want to help others heal?

How does your energy want to show up in the world to make a difference?

Take a nice deep breath in.

An easy sigh out.

Validate that healer inside you.

Validate the movement of healing energy.

Maybe it moves inwards and heals you,

And then maybe it moves outwards and heals others.

Be honest with where you are with your energy,

With what stage you're in.

There's no reason to hold back from healing yourself or sharing that healing energy with the world when you're ready.

You are a healer.

Everyone has a healer inside them,

And it manifests in different ways.

So own your unique,

Authentic healer energy and be a light to the world.

Great job.

When you're filled in with that gold light,

You feel calm and relaxed.

Allow yourself to open your eyes and stretch.
