Take a slow deep breath in and let the breath melt into your body and with exhale release all the tension.
Allow your shoulders to soften and your heart to loosen just a little.
Let this healing breath move through you like a warm quiet wave and allow yourself to pause.
Bring one hand to your heart and whisper inwardly,
I am here,
I am listening,
You are now safe.
Imagine your inner child standing before you,
Small,
Tender,
Hopeful,
Waiting for acceptance they never fully received.
Look at them with gentle eyes,
See their longing,
See their honesty,
See their innocence and say softly to them you never needed to be anything else than what you are.
You never needed to change yourself to be loved.
Invite them a little bit closer.
Let them sit beside you or perhaps they would love to lean into your chest.
Feel the breath blending with yours as in perfect harmony.
Feel your heart beating lovingly for the both of you and say to your inner child,
I accept you,
All of you,
The messy parts,
The tender parts,
The brilliant parts,
The scared parts,
You belong here and I love all of you,
All of you is welcome here.
Let these words wrap around them like warm sunlight.
Let your breath deepen,
Let your heart soften,
Let acceptance settle into your bones.
You and your inner child are one,
One united energy of divine love and light,
Your one body,
One breath,
One wholeness.
To close this guided meditation,
You can say to them,
Love who we are becoming,
Stay there as long as you need.
