We're going to practice continuous breathing that has been proven to quickly shift from sympathetic to parasympathetic nervous system.
We're going to breathe in for 4 seconds and we're going to breathe out for 8 seconds.

8 and keep breathing and exhale.
And as you are continuing this pattern 4 seconds in,
8 seconds out,
Switch your attention to the air that's entering your body,
That's nourishing your body and your soul and then focus as it is exiting your body and with exit it's taking away stress and anxiety out of your nervous system.
And as you are breathing and as your body is starting to relax and trust,
Remind yourself that in this moment you are safe.
This moment is a safe moment.
Remind yourself that you have a choice,
That you do not need to attach yourself to your thoughts,
That there is no past and there is no future.
The only moment that truly exists is this present moment and this present moment is safe.
