Welcome to the forest my friend,
Welcome to this guided meditation,
I'd like to invite you to begin attuning to your breath,
Listening to the gentle sounds of the tongue drum,
And the forest sounds,
And beginning to notice the quality of your breath,
Maybe you've had a long day,
Maybe you're just starting your day,
I'd like to just invite you to turn towards the body,
Just notice,
Is there a part of the body,
Or multiple parts of the body,
That are feeling a little bit overworked,
Maybe a little bit overwhelmed,
So maybe if you could take a moment to just turn towards these parts,
Just see if there's anything that they might need from you in this moment,
Maybe even just to say hello,
Just to acknowledge that it's been a full day,
Or that something happened,
Maybe earlier in the day,
And you felt it in the body,
Maybe you felt that heaviness,
Or that tightness,
In that moment,
But you had other things to do,
You couldn't attend to the body,
But now you can turn towards that part,
Just notice where in the body you can feel this part,
And if you can turn your attention towards that part,
Just asking,
Is there anything you need from me,
Anything at all,
And just see if the part responds,
Maybe right now,
The part's a little bit numb,
Or distracted,
Or maybe it responds,
And tells you something you need to know,
Can you promise this part,
That you're willing to offer it something,
Make a promise,
Promise that you can keep,
Doesn't have to be too big,
In fact something small might be better,
And just saying that you appreciate this part of you,
For all the work that it puts in,
That you notice it,
You appreciate it,
If there's anything else you want to tell this part,
Right now is the time,
You're doing amazing,
You're doing everything you can to show up for these parts,
Right now,
You're being the parent that you needed,
That they all need,
All parts,
So thank you for showing up,
And offering what you can to these parts of you,
That are maybe a little bit worn out today,
Just needed you to turn towards them,
And offer a little bit of stillness,
A little bit of softness,
Maybe a little mindfulness throughout the rest of your day,
If you can offer this to the part,
I'm sure they'll appreciate it a lot,
