Good evening,
It's Gina here.
Tonight we're joining Leo for another peaceful space adventure,
This time to a planet that glows quietly in the farthest reaches of our solar system.
So get yourself comfortable,
Making sure your body is relaxed,
And let's begin.
Leo looks out his window,
The night sky feels especially deep and quiet tonight,
And far,
Far away,
He sees a tiny blue spark twirling softly among the stars.
Tonight,
Leo will journey far,
He's visited Mercury,
Venus,
Earth,
Mars,
Jupiter,
Saturn,
And now he's going to Uranus.
He smiles as he imagines what it might be like there,
Cool,
Peaceful,
And slow.
A place where everything moves gently and softly,
Like water flowing in the dark.
Leo feels a quiet sense of curiosity,
He tiptoes to his little silver rocket,
Climbs in,
And fastens his seatbelt.
Three,
Two,
One,
Lift off.
The rocket hums gently and rises into the sky,
Past the moon,
Past Mars,
Jupiter,
And Saturn.
The stars seem to whisper softly around him,
Their light faint and far away.
It's a long journey this time,
Quiet and dreamlike.
Leo watches the stars drift past his window,
And finally,
Ahead of him,
A soft,
Blue planet appears,
Glowing like a jewel in the dark.
There it is,
Leo whispers,
Uranus.
The planet looks peaceful and slow,
Wrapped in swirls of pale blue and turquoise.
It doesn't sparkle like the other worlds,
It glows softly,
Like a gentle lantern floating in space.
As the rocket drifts closer,
Leo can see that Uranus isn't made of rock at all.
It's a world of cold,
Misty clouds,
Smooth and endless,
Stretching as far as he can see.
There's no surface to land on,
Only layer after layer of icy gas,
Moving like slow,
Sleepy waves.
Leo parks his rocket high above the upper clouds,
Where everything feels still.
Sunlight here is soft and silvery,
Almost shy.
The sun looks like a tiny golden star,
Far,
Far away.
The light dances across the top of the clouds,
Turning them shades of blue,
Silver and soft grey.
He gazes down in wonder.
It looks like an ocean of sky,
He whispers.
Tiny,
Frozen crystals drift through the air outside,
Catching the sunlight as they fall.
They sparkle for a moment,
Then disappear into the mist.
Leo floats quietly,
Feeling the calm all around him.
There's no sound,
Just the gentle hum of his rocket,
And the softest feeling of motion,
Like drifting into a dream.
He takes a slow breath,
Watching the clouds swirl far below.
For a moment,
He feels as if he's floating inside a giant,
Peaceful bubble.
Weightless,
Quiet and safe.
It really is a sleepy planet,
He says with a smile.
After a while,
He feels his eyes growing heavy.
The cool,
Glowing light feels soothing,
And the stillness makes him yawn.
He climbs back into his rocket and prepares for the flight home.
Through the window,
Uranus glows softly behind him,
Pale,
Blue and peaceful.
Good night Uranus,
He whispers.
The rocket glides through the stars,
And soon the familiar glow of Earth appears ahead.
When Leo lands beside his window,
He changes into his pyjamas and climbs into bed,
Pulls the blankets around his shoulders and closes his eyes as he remembers the calm,
Blue glow of Uranus.
Now,
Leo begins a gentle breathing and colour visualisation practice.
If you're listening at home,
Feel free to join in with Leo.
He imagines that each breath he takes is filled with the same calm,
Blue light of Uranus.
Cool,
Peaceful and soft.
He takes a slow breath in through his nose,
Breathing in that gentle blue colour,
Letting it fill his chest and belly with calm.
Then he breathes out through his mouth,
Releasing any busy thoughts or leftover energy from the day.
Again,
Breathing in the peaceful blue light,
And breathing out,
Feeling soft and still.
He imagines the blue glow gently washing over him from head to toe,
A wave of calm and comfort.
Each breath makes him feel lighter,
Softer and more at peace.
His body relaxes,
His breathing slows,
And his thoughts drift like clouds in a pale sky.
Leo drifts to sleep,
His dreams glowing in calm,
Beautiful blue light.
If you enjoyed this journey,
Perhaps you'd like to join us tomorrow night when Leo visits Neptune.
Until then,
Goodnight my friend.
