Welcome.

This meditation is all about entering the new year with purpose,

With resolve,

And with a vision of where you want to go.

So I want you to settle into a comfortable position.

Let the body be supported,

Whether you're laying down,

Feel the ground,

Or if you're sitting up,

Feel your back supported,

Your spine tall.

I want you to gently close your eyes.

Take a slow breath in through your nose.

We're going to pause,

And we're going to exhale through our mouth,

Again,

Inhaling deep and deliberate,

And exhaling any tension or anything that doesn't serve you in this new year,

This new beginning.

Let this breath mark a transition.

You are stepping out of what was and into what is becoming.

I want you to bring your awareness to the weight of your body.

Notice your feet,

Your legs.

Just take a scan from your toes to your head.

Feel if there's any tension being held in any spots of the body.

If you feel any tight muscles,

I want you to tense them up,

And then you're going to exhale as you release.

It's going to help you relax that face,

Soften those shoulders,

Unclench your hands,

Wherever you're holding any tension.

Everybody's different.

We all carry stress and tension in different spots,

But the journey is to know yourself.

Find how your body works,

How we carry things,

So we can figure out how to release it.

There's nothing you need to chase right now,

Nothing you need to fix.

This moment is enough.

I want you to imagine the year behind you,

Not as a list of wins or losses,

But as a path you've walked.

See the long days,

The quiet moments.

The choices that shaped you.

Acknowledge the effort it took to get here.

Now I want you to shift your focus to the year ahead.

Unknown,

Unwritten,

Not something to fear.

But something to meet.

You're not starting from zero.

You're starting from experience.

During the new year,

We always hear New Year's resolution.

Things that we want to change,

Habits we want to start or maybe stop.

I want us to reflect on that word resolve.

That's the base of the word resolution.

Resolve is not a goal.

It is not motivation.

Resolve is a decision that holds under pressure.

It is the calm commitment to continue when excitement fades.

When resistance appears.

When comfort calls you back.

Ask yourself quietly.

What am I willing to stand by this year,

Regardless of outcome?

Let that answer rise without forcing it.

Feel the difference between wanting and deciding.

Resolve is identity in motion.

Now picture yourself standing at the edge of a new path.

Behind you,

What has already shaped you?

Ahead of you,

Future.

See yourself take one deliberate step forward.

Not rushed.

Not hesitant.

Each step represents alignment.

With your values.

With your standards.

With who you are becoming.

You're making an investment on your future self today.

With every step,

Feel yourself more grounded.

More clear.

More present.

Silently repeat to yourself.

I move forward this year with intention.

I choose depth over distraction.

I choose future success over present comfort.

Feel these words settle.

Not as pressure,

But as clarity.

Now I want you to imagine meeting your future self one year from now.

Notice how you carry yourself.

Your posture.

Your presence.

You are not perfect.

But you are honest with yourself.

Disciplined.

You're aligned.

Ask yourself one question.

What mattered most this year?

Listen.

Now I want you to offer something in return.

To your future self.

A promise.

A standard.

A way of showing up.

Hold that commitment gently.

But firmly.

I want you to start to bring your attention back to your breath.

As we begin to close this meditation down.

Notice the steady breathing.

Or inhale and exhale.

The rise and fall of our midsection.

Feel the ground beneath you.

The space around you.

And know this.

The future does not demand perfection.

It responds to resolve.

You do not need to rush the year.

You only need to walk it with intention.

When you're ready.

You can open your eyes.

Start to wiggle your fingers and toes.

And step forward.

Into this new journey.

The path in front of you.

I'm happy to walk with you.

Set your heart ablaze.

Thank you for joining us.
