Jamie, I want to thank you for bringing a spotlight to shine on animal cruelty that still occurs to this day. Advocating for animals and raising awareness of our mistreatment of fellow sentient beings is a passion of mine. I taught kindergarten in a public school for 30 years and spent every one of those years raising awareness of animal rights in my students, in a way that was acceptable to the school system. I led by example. I was known for being the teacher who would come to "rescue" any poor creature who happened to wander onto our playground area, including the occasional turtle, toads, etc...even daddy long legs spiders. It wasn't long every year before the kids knew to keep other kids back so that they didn't accidentally step on or harm the creature, so I could swoop in and move it to safety. My point is that I guess we all use our own platform to try to move the needle toward kindness and compassion. Thanks for being on insight timer to spread the word. 💜💜💜
