Welcome,
I'm Jocelyn.
This is a quick and simple nighttime clearing to open up to your dreams in an open and beautiful way,
To unwind from your day,
To make space for your dreams,
To allow for your heart,
Your imagination to play wild,
Clearing and letting go of all that was in a day.
This is a simple process.
I hope you enjoy it.
So,
Let's just start by closing your eyes,
Bringing your awareness inward,
And just taking a few deep breaths to wind down from your day.
Inhaling through your nose,
And exhaling through your nose.
On the next breath,
Trying to bring your inhale all the way down into your low belly,
Feeling your body move beneath the current of breath,
And exhaling through your nose.
And one more time,
Inhaling through your nose,
And exhaling through your nose,
Following the current of breath with your awareness.
And before we move into sleep,
Let's take a moment to rewind your day backwards,
Allowing yourself to take stock of what you did today.
What accomplishments you had,
What habits you ticked through,
What meals you made,
What schedule you held to or didn't.
Just going backwards,
Like a clock rewinding itself of some of the major points of today.
You might hit something that you've done today that you want to just take a breath in and breathe with,
Either hold yourself there in gratitude for having gotten through something,
Or maybe you just slide right past it to the next thing.
And when you wind up back at the very beginning of this day,
Take a nice deep breath in through your nose,
Feeling the air entering the body,
Feeling the current move beneath the surface of the body.
Open your mouth and sigh it out.
Two more times,
Inhaling through your nose,
Feeling the current move beneath your skin.
Open your mouth and sigh it out.
And one last time,
Inhaling through your nose.
And on the exhale,
Through the mouth,
Sighing that out.
And just for a moment,
Placing your awareness right at the muscle of the heart,
The front of the heart,
The back of the heart,
Right side of the heart,
And the left side of the heart,
Top of the heart,
And the bottom of the heart.
And simply ask your heart,
What do I want to experience tomorrow?
And the answer may come in a picture,
A color,
A sound,
One simple word,
Or a run-on sentence.
Allow yourself to witness the answer here.
Ending with a moment of gratitude.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
To relax back and down,
And gently enter into sleep.
Namaste.
