Find calm and peace in your body when there may be chaos around you.
Take a deep breath in and slowly let it out.
Again breathe in deeply,
Releasing any tension.
Let's do a few more breaths in this way.
Deep full inhales and long slow exhales.
Allowing yourself this time to be still and close your eyes and imagine yourself standing in the middle of a storm.
The wind howls,
The rain falls and the sky rumbles.
As you breathe deeply feel the ground beneath you to each one of your toes.
And the parts of your feet that are in contact with the ground.
On your next exhale allow your body to relax.
You are safe here.
The storm may rage around you but it does not control you.
Breathe in deeply again drawing in the energy of calm.
And as you exhale let go of fear.
Let go of worry.
Feeling into the center and core of your body.
In this moment you are safe in your own body.
Your breath is your anchor.
Your heart is your shelter.
You have found your center.
Your peace is within you dear soul.
It can't be taken and it can't be lost.
Stay here for a few moments.
Breathing and resting in your quiet strength.
