Welcome and namaste to all of you.
We will perform now padahastasana,
The standing forward bend.
This asana is perfect to start your day,
To charge your batteries,
To increase vitality.
And in the traditional hatha yoga,
It's charging our muladhara chakra,
Our root chakra.
So come to a standing position with your feet parallel.
Then you can stretch yourself,
Come up,
Stretch your spine,
Your arms,
Your torso.
And when you're ready,
You bend forward with the fingers and hands touching the yoga mat.
If this is not possible for you,
Simply use one pillow or even two or more pillows.
It's totally fine.
Be aware that your legs should be straight.
Relax your head,
Relax your shoulders and your arms and your hands.
And now keep your eyes closed and focus on tilleric energy.
This is energy coming from the earth,
Rising through the legs and activating your root chakra,
Muladhara chakra.
Also note accumulation of energy in the level of the torso.
And simultaneously note the expel of waste and stagnant energies through the palms and fingers into the ground.
Stay in this posture a little bit more.
Your physical body is steady,
Your mind calm.
Try to avoid movements.
Focus on the energy flow,
Energy rising through the legs,
Activating the root chakra and waste and stagnant energies are going into the ground.
And every time when your mind is going somewhere else,
Bring your focus back.
Enjoy this posture for a few moments more.
Enjoy that you are getting vital energy,
That your batteries are charged.
And that will do.
Very slowly come up vertebra by vertebra.
Eyes closed,
Attention focused to perceive a pleasant sensation in your legs.
The rousing of your root chakra,
Muladhara chakra.
Feel increased vitality and the energizing of your torso.
And that will do.
Thank you for joining.
It's recommended to repeat this practice or a similar practice daily.
Namaste to all of you.
