Awareness can inhabit anything.
You can live in and embody any thought,
Feeling,
Sensation or experience at any moment.
As awareness,
It's your choice.
In this meditation,
We're going to practice embodying boundless awareness,
The vast open space within which and from which all experiences arise and into which they dissolve.
Learning to recognize and be familiar with spacious awareness liberates us from being stuck in any thought,
Feeling,
Sensation or experience,
So we can be open to the flow of life and welcome what is happening in each moment within a wide embrace of acceptance and clarity.
To begin,
Find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down,
And rest your hands palms down on your legs if sitting or at your sides if lying down.
Lightly close your eyes.
Take a moment to check in,
Inside.
Notice how you feel right now.
Notice if there's anything on your mind.
Notice any prominent sensations in your body.
Whatever you are thinking,
Feeling or sensing,
See if it's possible to embrace it within a wide space of awareness.
So the space of awareness is vast,
And feelings,
Thoughts or sensations are floating in the midst of this vast space.
Now,
We're going to go deeper into embodying this vast space of awareness.
Let's begin with your right hand.
Focus into your right hand and feel the space of your hand.
Sense the space inside the skin of your right palm and fingers.
If you need to wiggle your fingers to activate awareness here,
You can do that for a moment.
Then now,
Relax your hand.
Allow it to be soft and open.
Feel the space of your right hand.
Now,
Feel the space of your hand and forearm.
Feel the space inside your whole right arm,
Up to your shoulder.
Now,
Feel the space of your left hand.
Feel the space of your left hand and forearm.
Feel the space of your whole left arm,
Up to your shoulder.
Feel the space of both arms together.
And now,
Feel the space of your right foot,
Your right foot and calf.
Feel the space of your left foot,
Your left foot and calf.
Feel the space of your whole right leg,
Up to your hip.
Feel the space of your left foot,
Your left foot and calf.
Now,
Feel the space of your left foot,
