Welcome.

Today's meditation is a return to steadiness.

When the world feels like too much,

Nature reminds us.

Even in the storm,

The tree remains.

Still.

Rooted.

Alive.

This is your moment to return to your roots.

To find the ground beneath your feet and feel the calm within you.

Find a comfortable position.

You may be sitting or lying down.

Whatever allows you to feel supported.

Close your eyes if it feels comfortable.

Let your hands rest.

Let your shoulders drop.

Soften your jaw.

And feel your body begin to settle.

Begin to breathe slowly through your nose.

Let each inhale feel like drawing energy down through your body.

And each exhale feel like releasing it gently into the earth.

Inhale,

Feel the breath move down.

Exhale,

Let it root you deeper.

Breathe like the earth breathes.

Steady and patient.

Now imagine yourself as a great tree in a quiet forest.

Your branches may reach out in many directions.

Your leaves may rustle with thought,

With feeling.

But below all of that,

Deep in the unseen,

Are your roots.

Visualise those roots now.

Thick,

Strong and deep.

They stretch down into the soil,

Winding through stone and earth.

They hold you,

Even when life feels shaky.

No matter what storms pass above,

You are still connected.

Still grounded.

Still here.

Let yourself rest in that image.

A strong,

Living tree.

Deeply rooted.

Completely supported by the earth itself.

Now gently bring your awareness back to your breath.

Inhale into your body.

Exhale back into this moment.

Wriggle your fingers and toes.

Feel the support beneath you.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Carry this image with you.

A tree with deep roots.

Still.

Grounded.

Unshaken.

And return to this calm whenever you need it.
