Sometimes, we can struggle with the transition from long, warmer, brighter days to darker, cooler nights. If this sounds like you - then this meditation is for you. Here, we ground ourselves and focus on gratitude, moving our mindset towards embracing the growth, transformation, and new opportunities that this new season brings. So rather than dreaming of those long, hot summer nights. Let's embrace the beautiful colours and changes that this new season brings. It may not be here yet, but if we can embrace the change, then we can move towards a more joyful present experience as we transition into the new season.

Start by taking a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through the nose.

And as you breathe in,

Feel your lungs and your belly expand.

And as you breathe out,

Notice your belly and your chest fall.

One more time,

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And then gently let that go.

Just settling in to today's practice.

Breathing.

And just spending a few moments,

Noticing where you feel the breath through your body as it moves.

Perhaps it's in the belly.

Perhaps it's in the throat.

Or it is.

Nothing to do,

Just witness the breath.

Settling in.

Breathing into any.

.

.

Just gently relaxing your body.

Just that little bit more.

And notice that as your body is relaxing,

Your mind is softening.

Feel free to close your eyes.

And let's start by asking ourselves,

In this transitional period,

What am I grateful for?

To unfold.

To think of all the people,

Experiences,

Opportunities that you're grateful for right now.

To be as extravagant as a holiday.

Or as simple as a morning coffee.

And now let's ask ourselves,

What can I let go of that's no longer serving me?

What can I let go of that's no longer serving me?

As the seasons change,

As things change,

During this beautiful transitional period,

What can I let go of that's no longer serving me?

Could be a person.

Could be a thing.

Could be a mindset.

Just anything that's no longer serving you.

And finally,

Let's ask ourselves,

What's one thing I want to bring into this new season?

This period of change.

The opportunity to reset.

Perhaps it's an intention.

Maybe it's a theme.

An affirmation,

Maybe.

But just try and keep it simple.

And just think of one thing you can take with you into autumn.

And then gently let that go.

Let it float away.

Nothing to do with it now.

Just let it be.

And trust in the process.

Just noticing this present moment.

Notice how you're feeling.

Breathing into any sensations as they arise.

And just spending the next few moments witnessing our breath.

And finding some space in the stillness of this present moment.

And if you notice that you've started to drift away,

That's truly okay.

Just ever so gently bring yourself back to your breath,

To your anchor,

To your place.

The stillness and silence within.

And when you hear me ring the chime,

Just sit gently with your eyes closed.

And just letting go of anything now.

Spending a few moments adjusting your body.

Taking this time to show gratitude for yourself for showing up today.

Taking time for this practice.

And just bringing some gentle movement back into your body.

Wiggling your fingers,

Your toes.

Perhaps rolling your neck or your shoulders.

And whenever you're ready,

Opening your eyes.

Thank you for meditating with me.
