
When Sleep Is Restless And Thoughts Won't Settle
You are lying down, but your mind keeps moving. The day replays itself, tomorrow arrives early, and sleep stays just out of reach. This is a practice for those nights. You do not need to chase sleep or fix your thoughts. We simply let the body grow heavy, soften the breath, and give the busy mind something slow and steady to rest against. If thoughts drift in, that is fine. You let them pass like cars on a far away road. Stay lying down, close your eyes, and let yourself sink a little deeper with each breath.
