Hello and welcome.
This is Kayla.
Thank you for joining me.
We'll be going through the four Bs meditation,
Which includes breath,
Body,
Below and beyond.
Taking a moment to allow yourself to arrive wherever you are,
Exactly as you are.
The space for arriving home to the simplicity and wisdom that already lives within you and all around you.
Let's begin with the first of the four Bs,
Breath.
And by noticing your breath,
Just as it is,
No need to change or control it.
Simply become aware of the rhythm of life moving through you.
With your inhale,
Sense the openness and with the exhale,
Softening and a letting go.
The breath is a bridge between the inner and outer world,
Between the past and the future,
Inviting us to be here now.
Now let your awareness move more deeply into a body.
Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest,
The weight of your body supported by the surface beneath you and gently allowing your awareness to scan from the top of the head down through the skull,
Relaxing the eye and the jaw down through the neck and the shoulder,
Your chest and belly,
Hips,
Legs and arms and feeling your body as a whole,
The intelligence that lives within each cell,
Your heartbeat,
A muscle.
Body is one of our greatest teachers and take another moment here to honor your body's wisdom,
The way it feels,
Communicate and supports you in every moment,
Whether you're aware of it or not.
Moving into the third B here,
Below,
As your awareness continues downward,
Imagine roots extending from your body into the below,
The earth,
From the home of your body into the home of the earth.
Feel the steady presence of gravity as it grounds you into safety and belonging.
You might envision yourself rooted deep into the soil,
Connected to the layers of mycelial network of earth and soil,
Stone and ancient life,
Where all the bones have gone to be buried of our ancestors and all those who have gone before and with each breath drawing up nourishment from this connection and dropping down into the holding,
The strength of your ancestors and the grounding of the planet that has held all of life for eons.
Feeling the reminders of the earth that you are supported.
You are always connected and you belong.
From the steep grounding in yourself and the earth will open to the fourth B,
Beyond.
Gently let your awareness begin to expand upward and outward into the beyond.
Fence the vastness of the sky above you in a limitless space,
Stretching out in every direction,
Our expanding universe.
You feel yourself opening to the great mystery,
The universal intelligence that breathes life into all things,
Our universe in a sea of multiverses.
Allow yourself to be inspired by awe and wonder and then knowing that you're part of something immeasurable.
Perhaps you feel a spark of connection,
Shimmer of remembrance that you are both infinitesimal and infinite all at once.
Breath,
Body,
Below,
Beyond.
Feel yourself at the center of these four gateways,
One continuous circle of aliveness.
Take a few gentle breaths and feel these layers together,
Merging your breath flowing through the body,
The body grounded in the earth,
The earth held in the infinite beyond.
Let gratitude gently arise for your breath,
For the body,
For the earth body that holds you and for the mystery that moves through it all.
When you're ready,
Bringing your hands to your heart and slowly bringing your awareness back into the room as you begin to blink your eyes open.
Perhaps you take a deep inhale and stretch your arms up,
Saying thank you and claiming whatever has come through for you in this session today.
May this awareness accompany you through your day,
Grounded,
Open,
And connected.
The breath,
The body,
The below,
And the beyond.
