In this guided meditation, you'll journey through the layers of the Earth - crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core - as a metaphor for exploring the layers of your own lived experience through a beautiful visualization. Each layer invites you to gently reflect, release, and reconnect with different parts of yourself. Like the Earth, we carry stories on the surface and wisdom deep within. With the grounding energy of earth, could you soften in your nervous system, and allow me to guide you to a space of relaxation. Music: sounds for yoga nidra - Charlie Gates - stars

Hello and welcome to Mind Your Mindfall.

My name is Brianna Marie.

I'm so honored that you've joined me in practice today.

As you settle in,

Could you find a comfortable position?

This unique shape to you in your comfort in the here and now.

As you settle in,

Could you welcome your eyes to close,

Or to find a soft gaze?

And as you close your eyes,

Could you draw an awareness to the breath?

Could you notice the gentle rise and fall?

The ebb and flow of the natural breathing space?

And as you tune into your breath,

Could you allow yourself to arrive in this very moment just as you are?

With no expectations,

And no need to change anything about your experience.

Could you imagine yourself as a traveler who's just landed in this very moment in time?

The way a seed landing on fertile soil may happen.

Could you sense the ground beneath your body supporting you?

And with the breath,

Could you find an awareness in the mind's eye?

As it journeys deep into the earth,

Exploring the many layers,

Imagining the first layer of earth,

Where life bustles with energy and movement.

And this layer represents your daily life,

Your thoughts,

Your actions,

Your interactions.

Just as the surface of the earth is rich and diverse,

So too is your life filled with varied experiences.

Welcoming a breath in deeply,

Acknowledging this vibrant layer,

And then exhaling,

Releasing.

As your awareness sinks a little deeper into the topsoil,

Could you imagine this layer filled with nutrients,

The sustenance to the life above it?

You may consider the aspects of your life that nourish you,

Your relationships,

Your passions,

Your moments of joy or glimmers.

And as your awareness with each breath continues to stream throughout the body,

Could you begin to sense the warmth of these nourishing elements envelop your entire being?

With each breath,

Sensing the things that nourish you.

As you continue to breathe gently,

Could you imagine descending further into the subsoil?

This layer is less fertile,

But it provides stability and structure.

Could you reflect on the routines and habits that give your life structure?

Or you may wish to reflect on something that allows you to feel rooted into your daily existence.

The anchors that hold you firmly,

Even when the winds of change blow,

Taking a moment to presence the stability.

In the here and now,

Let the breath be the guide into the stability of connection.

As you move deeper still,

You reach the bedrock representing the core beliefs and values you hold dear.

These are the principles that remain steadfast,

Regardless of the circumstances around you.

Breathing in,

Could you feel the strength of the bedrock within you?

Knowing it supports,

Knowing that it gives you the firm foundation upon which you stand.

As we reach the mantle,

This layer is vast and dynamic.

Slowly flowing and shifting over time.

This mantle representing the deeper currents of your life,

The personal growth,

Your evolution,

And the way you adapt and change with each season.

As you sense the breath move within the body,

Gently and slowly,

Could you imagine the slow movements of this mantle?

The reminders that growth is continuous and a patient process.

As your awareness reaches the core of the earth,

This place of intensity,

Energy,

And warmth.

Let the core represent your truest self,

The beauty of your inner essence,

The prana or source of vitality and strength.

As you breathe in this life force energy,

Could you sense the warmth of this inner core spreading throughout the whole body,

Filling you with a sense of power and peace.

Knowing that this inner core is always there,

No matter what happens on the surface.

As you begin to bring your awareness back up through the layers,

From the core,

Through the mantle,

Past the bedrock,

Into the subsoil,

The topsoil,

And finally the surface.

As you return,

Could you bring with you the warmth,

The strength,

And stability that you've explored?

Could you take a few deep breaths in through the nose,

Out through the mouth,

Sensing the space around you,

Noticing the currents of the surface?

Could you begin to wiggle fingers and toes,

Welcoming the understanding that just as the earth is made up of many layers,

So are you.

Each layer with its own purpose,

Each layer serving its purpose,

And together creating the whole beautiful self,

The whole beautiful landscape that is you.

As you return,

Could you take a moment to presence some gratitude for taking this time for yourself,

To explore landing here,

Moving through the layers of the self.

May you move through your day with a sense of groundedness and peace.

And gently opening the eyes whenever you feel ready,

Closing out today's practice with shanti,

Shanti,

Shanti,

Peace,

Peace,

Peace.
