Allow your parasympathetic nervous system to become activated in a space of rest and stillness. Settle into the comfort of supports and visualize the fresh air of the forest and imagery to guide the adrenal system awareness into a space of balance. Hello beautiful being.

Today we'll be doing a short meditation practice to support an adrenal reset.

The adrenal system is responsible for regulation of our hormones.

It can help with metabolization and of course the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system to reduce things like stress in our lives.

You can begin today's practice by finding a comfortable position.

This could be seated either on a cushion or a chair or you could find a position to welcome rest in supine or laying down on your back.

Welcoming the hands on the lap or belly either palm up or down.

As you settle into this space of comfort I welcome you to close down through the eyes or allow your gaze to remain soft.

Noticing the natural flow of breath moving through the body.

Sensing the gentle waves of breath moving through the chest and belly in and out.

Could you imagine yourself in a peaceful space in the forest with the trees surrounding you,

Their branches swaying gently,

Their leaves brushing in the wind.

Sensing the ground beneath you allowing gravity to cradle you.

As you connect with the breath and the space in your mind could you draw your awareness to the adrenal glands.

They're nestled just above your kidneys.

These little triangles are responsible for a balanced hormonal state aiding in the metabolism,

Immunity and to support our response to day-to-day stresses.

Could you imagine these glands as two flowers gently swaying in the dappled sunlight filtering through the trees and the leaves.

With each inhale imagine drawing in fresh filtered air from the forest.

Filling your lungs with a vital life force energy.

This prana of the forest.

As you exhale envision any tensions or stresses melting away from the adrenal glands,

Away from the flowers like dew drops evaporating in the morning sun.

Continuing to breathe deeply allow this healing energy of the forest to infuse your entire being.

With each breath feel a sense of renewal and strength blossoming within you.

Nourishing the glands and restoring balance to your body.

Perhaps there are thoughts surfacing or distractions present.

Could you acknowledge them with kindness and let them drift away like leaves on a gentle stream.

Welcome your awareness back to the breath and imagine the belly and chest as the entire forest breathing with air moving through your chest and belly.

With each breath feel a deep connection to the earth beneath you.

To the space of gravity holding you and the life-giving energy that surrounds you.

Could you imagine these flowers of your adrenals bathed in this healing energy replenishing their vitality and resilience.

Welcoming a sense of balance and a sense of support rooted in the forest.

Could you take a moment to reflect on a sense of gratitude for yourself for presencing the time for a reset in your day.

A time to focus on the inner workings of the body's balance.

Know that you can return to this meditation whenever you need to reset and recharge the energetic layer for a balanced adrenal awareness.

When you feel ready gently bring yourself back into the present moment.

Wiggling your fingers and toes and slowly welcome the sensation of light to be present through a soft gaze.

Take a moment to notice the sense of calm and balance you've cultivated within yourself.

Could you carry this feeling with you as you continue with your day knowing that you can support the inner working of the body.

Knowing that you can support the molecular spaces through restful practices like this one.

Thank you so much for practicing here with me today.

Breanna, what a beautiful meditation! This opened my awareness to cultivating nature's imagery into my practice. I am following you now and hope you will offer some live sessions. I've been on IT for a decade and listened to thousands of meditations and this one is one of my favorites.
