The Art of Meditation as Bravery Acquisition Part 2 by Nicolas Seculariu Welcome back to the Meditation as Bravery Acquisition series.

Part 1 was dedicated to describing posture,

Breathing and concentration at the point between the eyebrows,

Hence if you would like clarification on how to begin meditating,

I recommend listening to it first.

For this part,

I will guide you in a meditation by telling you a story of an astral constellation,

Orion,

Whose origins have the same,

Observationally speaking,

Characteristics with seeing single-mindedly.

In this series,

And elsewhere,

I am using the wording single-mindedly literally.

I am referring to the visual realization reached by meditators and how it corresponds to deepening meditation states.

I invite you to close your eyes,

Seal your mouth and begin keeping what appears to be a light panel in direct sight.

You are breathing naturally from the nose and you are either sitting comfortably or lying your body without experiencing pain caused by assuming a posture that is uncommon to you.

With time,

Entering meditation immediately produces a light-headed sensation due to stimulating one's frontal lobe by pressing upwards the muscles between the eyebrows.

Getting used to raising and maintaining so these muscles varies for individuals depending on how often they meditate and with what determination.

My recommendation is to begin with 10 to 15 minute sessions twice a day as many days per week this routine be maintained.

For now,

Try to direct your gaze to the center of your visual template.

This is all that is required from you during the next minutes.

It is likely that what you see behind closed eyes resembles a rectangular which has a purple-orange colored impression emitted by it.

This canvas changes with your degree of concentration which is why to see single-mindedly is to witness insight realized.

In the story I am about to say,

Orion's nebula took shape in three stages that visually correspond to what a meditator experiences as they increase their concentration.

In the beginning,

There was a radiant mass of unidentified shape.

A separation of that mass into various shapes which started moving across each other ensued as if spreading dust were creating a circular periphery.

Out of a sudden,

The shapes appearing wider were by means of an explosive reaction given form.

Orion's first formational stage is what the meditator experiences when they begin to meditate.

This stage lasted as much as the glowing effect of ultraviolet light originally forming Orion produced enough radiation to draw electrons from interstellar hydrogen to the mass generated by such ligaseous particles.

During meditation,

A similar pattern occurs as a result of cranial muscles getting heated from being subjected to tension.

As you begin to deepen your concentration at the point between the eyebrows,

Be also aware of any excess tension accumulating at your forehead,

Whether it is because you're frowning or lifting the eyebrows instead of drawing them diagonally towards the base of the nose.

In second formational era,

Making up its constellation,

You can identify for yourself the moment a circle appears in between the eyebrows.

I encourage you to deepen your concentration.

To do this,

Lift the eyebrows thus creating,

In your imagination,

The letter V set where your tip of the nose is.

Figuring out this diagonal positioning of the eyebrows happening when they concentrate,

A meditator is able to pursue by testing how to push lightly a muscle found at the base of the forehead.

Meditation is the result of maintaining this light muscle tension comfortably until suddenly an exhilarating current runs through your crane culminating spasm along the spine and or the forehead.

Experiencing this is the equivalent of Orion's third developmental stage,

An explosion at the core of the nebula provoked by accumulated radiation jolting forward a formation carrying dust and gas.

You are still in the same posture,

Whereas amidst having your mind jumping from one type of wondering to another,

The sight which resembled a chaotic sequence of flashing colors you now are able to direct between the eyebrows experiencing as your concentration increases its transformation.

Keeping your mouth sealed,

You can now bring your eyes to see in front of you.

Accommodate your posture if you feel so before inhaling deeply from the nose.

I suggest staying still during the next minute before moving into your day.

I will leave you,

Concluding the second part of this series with a brief reminder of the relationship between being single-minded and living courageously.

Why then have someone else dictate life for you?

For one,

The earth stands your ground,

Entertaining your every desire.

May or may not,

After all kindred spirits beyond hear your song,

Align a seasonal sapphire as unforeseen as surprise.
