This meditation is about rewiring the story you live by.
Take a slow breath in and gently exhale.
Exhale,
Let your body settle into a natural rhythm,
Breathing in safely and breathing in safety and breathing out tension.
With each breath,
Feel yourself arrive more fully into this moment.
There is nothing to fix right now,
Nothing to prove,
Just space to observe.
Your mind holds many stories,
Stories you've collected from childhood,
From culture,
From successes,
From failures,
And from hurts.
Some of these stories help you grow,
Some ask you to stay small.
And today,
We gently explore them with curiosity,
Not judgment.
Place a hand on your heart if it feels comfortable.
Feel the rise and fall beneath your palm.
Proof of life and possibility.
Now bring to mind an area of life where you feel stuck or you feel limited.
Maybe it's in love,
Maybe confidence,
Maybe abundance,
Maybe worthiness,
Or change,
An ability to change.
Ask softly,
What belief might be holding me back here?
What belief might be holding me back here?
Don't force an answer,
Just allow whatever thought or feeling surfaces to surface.
Notice the tone of that belief.
Is it supportive or is it restrictive?
Does it make you stronger and strengthen you,
Or does it shrink you?
Again,
Observe it with compassion.
It once tried to protect you.
Now,
To challenge the old story,
Ask,
Is this belief always true?
And what would I be if I no longer carried this belief?
This is,
Of course,
If it is not a supportive belief.
Notice how your chest expands when possibility opens.
Your body knows the truth of your potential.
Now,
To create a new empowering belief,
Take a deeper breath.
Imagine breathing in your future self,
The you who has already grown through disbelief.
See how you move,
How you love,
And how you speak to yourself in that future self that has instilled empowering beliefs.
Then ask,
What belief does my future self hold instead?
Let a new statement form,
One rooted in growth,
Not fear.
Something like,
I am capable.
I am worthy.
I trust myself.
I learn and improve every day.
When it comes,
Repeat it gently,
Like a promise to yourself.
Feel that new belief settling into your mind,
Settling into your breath,
Into your identity.
Each time you choose this new belief,
Your life moves closer to the reality you are meant to live.
Take one more slow inhale,
Letting confidence rise,
And exhale releasing what no longer serves you.
When you're ready,
Bring movement back into your fingers,
Your arms,
Your shoulders.
Carry this belief with you,
And step forward as the author of your own story.
You are growing through what you go through,
And you are becoming more you every day.
