This meditation is about gratitude as one of the powerful ways to feel better and to stay resilient.
Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.
Notice the sensation of the air entering and leaving your body.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to relax a little more deeply.
Now,
Think of something in your life that you are grateful for.
It could be a person.
It could be a place,
An experience,
Or even something simple like the warmth of the sun on your skin or the smell and texture of your bed sheets.
Whatever it is,
Let yourself fully appreciate the gift it brings to your life.
As you focus on this feeling of gratitude,
Imagine it as a warm,
Glowing light within you.
With each breath,
Feel this light expanding,
Filling your entire body with warmth and filling your entire body with positivity.
Now,
Think of a challenge or difficulty you are currently facing,
If any.
Something you're stuck on or that just is giving you a hard time or bringing some challenging sensations or feelings.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Visualize this challenge surrounded by the warm light of gratitude.
See how this light transforms the challenge,
Making it seem smaller and more manageable while giving you a better perspective and a more eagle-eye view of life.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to feel more and more grateful for this challenge,
Knowing that it is an opportunity for growth and for learning.
Feel a sense of resilience growing within you,
Knowing that you have the strength to overcome any obstacle and with your strength you can rise to any challenge life brings,
Just as you enjoy all the great gifts that life brings.
Take a few more deep breaths,
Soaking in this feeling of gratitude and resilience.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Bringing the sense of strength and positivity with you into the rest of your day.
