Welcome to the place where we have healing and wholeness.

Today we're going to go on a journey to become familiar with all of our parts,

To begin to understand all of the parts within us and those that may be hijacking our systems.

The goal is to build cooperation and community with all of our parts so that we can have a more fully integrated self.

To start this journey we're going to envision we're riding on a bus and as you're riding on the bus I invite you to look around the bus to see the students,

Yourself,

The driver and all of the parts that are within you that are on the school bus.

It could be your confident self,

Your sad self,

Your angry self,

Disappointed self,

Whatever types of selves are there that play a role in your life.

And as you look around the bus you're noticing that you're not the driver of the bus.

The driver is another part.

Listen to the part and it'll tell you what part it plays.

It could be fear,

Disappointment,

Anger,

Whatever it is this part has hijacked your bus.

As you gently tap it on the shoulder you're letting it know that its turn is over and it's time for you to regain the driver's seat.

This part is somewhat hesitant and it reluctantly goes back into the rest of the seats and it's seated on the bus.

Now you're feeling your power within your body.

You're noticing shifts in your emotions as you're in the driver's seat on the bus.

You're seeing what it feels like to be in this new position.

You're noticing what others are seeing from you within the back.

As you begin this process you're looking at the parts in the back and noticing the conversations they're having.

Are they happy?

Are they excited?

Many of them may be questioning where the journey is going.

Gently and calmly let them know that they're all okay,

That you're in charge now.

You can see the size of relief and feel it within your own body as you experience this release.

You quietly look back to all the participants on the bus,

Gently acknowledging them all and letting them know that you are cooperative and everyone has a part to play that's equally important.

No one is more or less superior than the others.

Now you ask for a silent agreement among your parts and in the silent agreement they all respect and honor each other,

Knowing that each has an equal part to play in the creation of the energy in the bus.

And now they're all there to be a cooperative community for your highest and greatest good.

If any part should want to play a bigger part than the others,

You just gently remind them that it's not their turn and they go sit back down.

Now that you've retrieved the driver's seat,

You can gently and easily tap in this experience by crossing your right hand to your left shoulder,

Your left hand to your right shoulder and begin tapping slowly left to right.

You're tapping in this experience slowly and magically as this feeling of safety and security enhances within your body.

You continue doing this for as long as necessary,

Tapping in as long as it feels good to your body and your nervous system,

Gently telling your whole body and its nervous system that you're safe now,

That you're protected,

That all is well.

As you do this,

I invite you to gently take a big breath in and breathe it out.

You may need to do this a few times as a silent acknowledgement to your body that you understand and are with it.

You'll always be there for it.

You're gently feeling yourself in the driver's seat,

Feet on the floor,

Sitting in the chair and just noticing how it feels to be in this current place.

You silently give gratitude to all of your parts for being willing to participate with you on this journey.

You're just going to let them know if they need your attention at any time.

They can come ask you and you'll gently and kindly respond to them.

Now that you've built a cooperative community,

You're able to communicate effectively and efficiently with each other.

I invite you to take a big breath,

Breathe it in and let it go.

You're noticing all the faces on the bus and how happy and calm they are.

Some might not be completely satisfied but they're willing to let you guide them.

And with this,

I invite you to give them all gratitude and acknowledge all of the roles that they have to play.

You gently see the bus fade away and as I count down from five,

Take in a big breath.

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Take a big breath.

Open your eyes.

Orient yourself to your present location in time and give gratitude for the work that you've just done.

Namaste.
