Welcome to your root chakra meditation.
We're going to relax now and focus on your breath.
Focusing on your inhale and your exhale.
Inhaling strength,
Exhaling weakness.
Inhaling power and exhaling fear.
Inhaling safety and exhaling doubts.
Inhaling security and exhaling all of your limiting beliefs.
Now before we dive into the visualization part of this meditation,
I want you to make sure that you are completely comfortable and relaxed.
So make any last adjustments to make sure that you are fully comfortable.
This will just allow you to focus fully on the visualization on this beautiful meditation without worrying about any physical issues.
As you sit,
Feel the ground rise up to catch and support you.
Feel yourself grounded in the air and watch as your worries wash away.
You are here now.
You are alive and you are cared for.
You are protected.
Watch as the waves of your worries grow still and subside.
Calm waters.
You are safe.
Take a deep,
Long breath.
Feel it in every inch of your body.
Visualize your breath as it travels through your nose,
Down your throat and into your lungs.
Feel your chest expand as the breath filters through your lungs.
Feel the air go down into your belly,
Your pelvic bone and your beautiful thighs.
Let your thighs grow heavy and allow your spine to ground.
Continuing to breathe,
Traveling down with your breath,
Visualize this journey.
Your throat,
Your lungs,
Your belly,
Your lower back and into your spine.
Now focus on the end of your tailbone and start to envision your root chakra.
The bright red chakra staring back at you.
Watch as the red light grows larger and expands across your lower back.
The red light is warm and soothing.
Feel the red light like a supportive hand on your lower back.
Let the red light spread across your lower back and heal.
Ground down into your root chakra and rise up slowly from the base of your spine.
Travel upwards with that healing red light.
Feel as this beautiful bright red fiery light washes through your entire body.
Outside nothing has happened but inside you your root chakra glows.
As you continue to focus on this beautiful red chakra energy,
Start to envision your own roots.
Growing down from the base of your spine,
Deep down into Mother Earth,
Rooting you where you are.
Keeping you stable,
Safe and secure.
Connecting to Mother Earth and her beautiful,
Caring,
Nurturing,
Providing energy.
You are safe.
You are secure.
You are provided for.
You are grounded.
Now as your roots grow down into Mother Earth,
Mother Earth's roots start to grow up and around you.
Around your feet,
Your legs,
Your body.
Feel as Mother Earth surrounds you with these beautiful roots.
How safe you are.
How held you are.
How cared for you are.
As you feel these feelings of safety,
Security.
Repeat the following affirmations either out loud or in your head.
With every breath,
I release the anxiety and fear within me.
I am here and I am safe.
I am nourished and supported by Mother Earth.
I am safe,
Protected and guided in this world.
I release any doubts and fears.
The Earth supports me and meets my needs.
I love my body and trust its wisdom.
I am at home in my own body.
I am immersed in abundance.
Now I want you to just remember this.
You are here.
You have a strong and stable connection to Mother Nature and all the beauty,
Light and sounds she brings to your life here.
Through your root chakra,
You are grounded like the roots of a tree into the Earth,
Connecting you to all that is alive.
Your energy flows clear through your roots and frees your soul body from the Earth,
Bringing balance and equilibrium to your mind body.
And as you move through your day,
As you come to decisions on which you take action,
It is from this grounded place.
You take action without attaching to the outcome.
Your root connection nurtures your system.
Its non-judgmental fluid heals you as you live inside this body.
You are filled from the ground up with gratitude for your healthy body,
Mind and spirit.
Now you can start to bring your awareness back to this present moment,
Feeling the sensations of your physical body,
Its contact with the Earth beneath you,
The air around you,
The sounds surrounding you.
Start to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
